I have a ipad and and it's quite comfy, but honestly I'm not too keen on jailbreaking it. It works quite nicely to allow unapproved software on it.
On the other hand, I have a android phone (Samsung J7) that's rooted and does all the shit I won't do on the iPad.

Samsung Tab S2 is already abandon ware
Absolutely no reason to go for that over a newer iPad
