This. I get 144 fps with a 380X in BF1 because I run the game with a mixture of medium, high and low and instea of HBAO I use SSAO, etc.

You don't need a1080ti to play at 144fps if you're not retarded.
Ultra settings are actually placebo on most multiplayer games where you want 144fps anyway, and in most cases even obstruct your vision.

Unless this is a new monitor, this is a VA panel, which actually has better colors with quantum dot than IPS and drastically better contrast.

If I remember correctly, t hey did fuck it up in other ways though. I think the FreeSync range is atrocious or something like that.

As of right now, yeah. QLED is a Samsung term that they've used for multiple different things. As of right now, it's a multicolored backlight that expands to color palette of traditional LCD tech.

...however, they also use QLED to refer to a self-emitting quantum dot technology they're developing that would essentially be the PLS equivalent to OLED's IPS. We don't know if that's inferior, entirely possible that it will be better and not have some of the issues OLED has.

Confusing, yeah. It's a few years away and they'll probably rename one of them when self emitting quantum dot displays do arrive.

Ur retarded. You dont have to hit 144FPS. Freesync 2 means it has LFC. LFC requires "ready monitors where max refresh is ≥2.5X " So for example 56-144FPS range experience will be much smoother than without Freesync or G-sync. Also pretty sure you can play any e-sports title on constant 144FPS even with RX580.

my favorite thing to do when i see a oled monitor is pull up a full screen blank white window and try to figure out the owner's favorite porn site from the burned in logos. Brazzers' is pretty easy to identify of course, and the high contrast block letters on BLACKED always stands out nicely. XVIDEOS.COM is a little trickier since it's a scrolling marquee, but eventually it builds up a very pale grey stripe straight across the top 5% of the screen.
