If you like working with idiots.
Here's a talk by a former Google employee who replaced a large function with several loops with calls to two standard library functions and it was rejected by the senior engineer because "nobody knows what std::rotate does"

Microsoft

On windows, you feel like a god. Its professional its fast, its all functional. You have a godlike user interface. The thing that the linux does not have. You have those two buttons in the linux, but you still search google for codes to write in terminal. Linux is free because its not worth a penny. Nobody would sell a paper without taking the money. Just not sure why people still buy android while windows phone does 10 times more. Trust me. When you work with windows you know some genius ground breaker dedicated himself to give you an operational os

Legit best thing that happened is the phone no -> account binding. No more people asking me where they can grab me since good 80% of my acquaintances are using it and they have my phone no.

Wire allows you to use a phone number if you like. It's just not required (you can also elect to use a throwaway email address).

Your defense wasn't a defense at all.

Bad comparison, considering both are free. But yes, if you could get a Ford Pinto or a McLaren F1 for free, and you chose the Ford Pinto, then you're a retard.

>Oh, that's cool. I'll actually look it up but at this point I fear there is literally no one using it, why would I be the only one everyone has to install a different app to speak to
It looks way better than WhatsApp, and has a bunch of shit that normies like, like doodling on pics, emojis, gif support, etc. Using both side by side, the only reason that normies don't use it is because they aren't aware of it. That said, I wouldn't expect them to give much of a shit about fingerprint verification.

Being a unix-like OS, you can actually interface pretty well with GNU systems from Mac OS. Certainly better than on Windows anyway. You've got a decent shell, vim, emacs, openssh, all out of the box. It's surprisingly nice in that regard. I still would not use or recommend it these days due to it being non-free software, but I don't have an irrational hatred for it the way some people do, or the way I was raised to.

>nobody knows what std::rotate does
He probably meant that on a deeper level. I don't know the context, but std::rotate comes from a third party developer, if the implementation of std::rotate were to change on a compiler/library update it might have a negative impact on the function that uses it.

Of course they could have solved this by opening the header file that contains the implementation.

The behavior won't change, the performance might change for the better, anything you write yourself is almost guaranteed to be worse than std::rotate.
