Does Linus ever post anything of substance?

Well, his videos on thermal paste application, lapping, fan pressure and all the other things /g/ like to shriek incoherently about were pretty informative.
As people have been saying, these things make no difference beyond placebo. You might as well be wearing a magnetic bracelet to align your aura if you care about these things.

/g/ told me that thermal paste induces CPU corrosion and will degrade my CPU faster

You need to solder a magnesium anode to your die to counter that increased oxidation.

Some of his videos are all right. They are all filled with forced memes and bad puns, but I like to see just a guy that likes technology messing around with expensive stuff. He gets criticized quite a bit for being clickbaity and all of that, but come on, it's not like /g browsers don't know about adblock, and you can just skip the ads in his videos.
All and all, I like them. They seem fairly honest in their reviews and I like the production quality. I know there are better tech channels, but this one is entertaining enough to make me watch a video about a piece of tech I'm never gonna be interested in (like the toaster in OP's pic).
