So I drank the Kool-Aid and installed Linux. Ubuntu, specifically.
I got a virus almost immediately--the screen went black with a thin, broken yellow line flashing at the very left hand side of the screen. I hadn't even opened up a web browser yet when it happened.
Not to mention it was a total botnet with a shortcut to Amazon on the tool bar.
I can't even believe how cucked Linuxfags are. They call Windows 10 a botnet, but Linux is a botnet too and at least Windows doesn't get viruses and die within 2 minutes of installation.
Oh, and I tried to dual boot with Windows and Ubuntu wiped all my Windows data, so I lost 50GB of films and images. I'm incredulous, frankly. Was Linux a troll all along? Well, you fucking got me good, faggots.
install gentoo you cuck

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

nice bro way to bring a solid argument to the table my man excellent debating skills hombre super solid way to shill your epic garbage
>>61986005
It's no virus. Just because you are too faggot to use it doesn't mean it's shit
>I can't install Ubuntu.
>This is Linux's fault.
>You're all dumb for falling for Linux.
( Y O U )
Please lurk for a few weeks before posting again.
>>61986005
>you fell for the linux meme
Never trust the counter-culture nerds from /g/ and you'll avoid mistakes like this in the future.
>failed to install easiest distribution
>For his mistakes blames a piece of software
>Curses everyone who successfully uses that piece of software
OP is the reason why we should stop encouraging casuals to use GNU/Linux.
If person in question tells you that he/she plays video games or main activities are browsing or using some proprietary software, this should be clear sign to stop pushing Linux to them.
I'm sick or idiots like OP. This might be bait, but I know people like this exist. Idiots who sees something alien to them instead of trying to understand cries for help and blames everyone but themselves.
OP if you're not baiting: don't ever try to use Linux again you fucking morron.

Man, your fucking stupid. Most Linux distros can be installed with or without a desktop environment or 'Graphics' as you like to call it.
Can someone please castrate this guy then delete this thread.
>>61989150
why do you just absolutely feel the need to deepthroat the bait so hard
