Do any of you have two wireless access points working successfully in one place?
What's your secret? Same or diffferent SSID, channel, strength, etc.?

Same network, same SSID/pass, very different channels. ex, ch 1 & 11.

whats the problem?
I have two routers in the same room and they both work fine.

What's the reasoning for different channels? No benefit of having them on the same?

I have two in different areas of the house but my devices always seem to lock onto one even if it's farther away. And I can't find an option for lowering signal strength on it.

I'm not going to explain, fucking google it

So they don't interfere with each other?

I ask because plenty of sites recommend putting it on the same channel. Doesn't seem like there's consensus.
