For a couple of months I couldn't successfully make calls because all the audio going to my end was choppy, yet coming in from my side to the other caller it was fine. I get it today, both ends of the call work.
*try it today
Have you disabled VoLTE?

Is there a way to do it? Because this problem only stopped after an update a couple of days ago.

In settings > More > Cellular Networks
Turn off Enhanced 4G LTE Mode.
That worked for me at least; I was getting extremely shit call quality with it on despite living in a city with strong LTE service.
I just got an update too, so it's probably the same one. So you're saying that fixed the problem so far?

Weird I would see a thread with this timing.
I'm using the g5 plus on verizion and just the other night I experienced the lag on my end that you are talking about, though I dont use my phone all that much.
Also how was your experience activating this phone with verizon?
I left boost because they claimed it wont work on their network. I went to verizon and had an hour ordeal because they couldn't activate it there. The workaround was to activate my sim in an iphone and then put it in my g5 plus.

Yeah, though the call audio quality is worse due to VoLTE being disabled

I had to contact Verizon support to get the IMEI switched, plus changing from MicroSIM to NanoSIM made thing even more of a pain in the arse, everything works splendidly though now
