Does anyone here have any experience with the Kardex Logitools web administration tool for Kardex Remstar storage systems?

Sounds totally proprietary.

Yep. We have these expnesive pieces of shit at my job and they add the material information by hand. I really just want to upload a csv file with all the information to it and be done with it.

I worked with those, never managed them tho. I remember the security sensors being a real bitch
We finally shitcanned our 20 year-old lifts a couple years ago. Goddamn things were held together by duct tape and baling wire by the end. We drove them with our pick-to-light control system, which was running TSX-32 on top of DOS 6.22. Some ancient shit.

Yes they are. One worker somehow managed to to break one of the storage boxes because he put it close to the edge and as the elevator went around the box gut crushed. Was a drag to get it out.

*and the box got
>>61950549
Ive heard of similar stories of boxes getting stuck and breaking.

And what system replaced those old machines?
>>61950667
We did not replace them. We pulled them out as we went to a new warehouse management system (Discrete Logistix from RedPrairie/JDA) and management bought the hype on voice picking hook, line, and sinker. Now we need 40% more headcount out on the floor to handle the same order volume we did in the old environment.

I couldn't imagine working with that robot voice giving me orders from my headphones.

Yeah, I'm not a fan. Plus around the same time, we were sold off to a Big Pharma company whose inept IT department that is like 85% contracted out to India has introduced so much red tape into our business that sometimes I think I'd be better off slitting my wrists with a box cutter.
