Fedora is for code-obsessed jobless geeks, without personal life! Yes, it is interesting to follow tens of pages of technical explanations and sophisticated Terminal command-lins, in order to perform a high-pro backup if your system, as it is described here: https://fedoramagazine.org/taking-smart-backups-duplicity/ But the funny thing is that in the most Debian based Distros, the same thing is performed through a an intuitive GUI Apps with a few clicks... In FedoraProject's Sect, they are studying like for an University, in order to do such a simple for Debian/Ubuntu/Mint OS maintaining?!! Why? RedHat need employees, or they need to build for-free an army of tech obsessed not-for-profit FSF.org brainwashed Developers, as a Brains Resource for RHEL?!!
Just take a look, how many packages and scripts, with tens and tens commands in the Gnome Terminal you should do, in order to perform a "Smart Backup" of your System, as for the same option, in Debian/Ubuntu/LinuxMint there is preinstalled GUI app, that is doing the job with a few clicks: https://fedoramagazine.org/taking-smart-backups-duplicity/

Ubuntu is comfy distribution. But LTS doesn't work well with newest hardware (ryzen CPU), LTS still has python 2.7 as default python.
Also: ubuntu make is pretty gud
