Its still good but most companies still force you onto one of the big three: eclipse,netbeans and vs. Personally I use codelite for personal projects since its smaller and faster just like codeblocks but also has less features built in. Eclipse an netbeans are Java based and tend to be brutally slow on large code bases and VS is a windows exclusive.so in the end it comes down to windows VM or java.
TL;DR:its good, but not as feature packed as the big three, also don't expect to use it in industry.
