Received my RM 610d today.

They actually sound better than my previous Lenovo ones. Though I have to admit, I didn't really check any reviews before buying headphones previously.

I bought them pretty much only because of their 5 star rating on Audiobudget.

There was a guy with tinnitus who had qt sized IEMs for sleeping.
If you're still here, could you post a review after some months of usage and if not does anyone happen to remember which ones that could be? They were really barely bigger than the tips.

Because out of all the key heights i've tried i feel it is the most comfortable, there's less space for the key to travel when clicking it down, while still having satisfying feedback compared to completely flat keys. full height keys are retarded imo.

The only their downside I can see is that the buttons are flipped. The "-" raises volume and "+" lowers it. It does make sense ergonomically, because the "-" button is actually higher when you are wearing them.

Also, the middle button (which looks like a "call" icon, the center part of ) doesn't really call anybody, at least on Android. It's a ▶ /⏸ type button.

Overall I'm happy with it, about 3 times cheaper than Lenovo ones but actually better sounding.

So I'm thinking. When you get a drone for cheap, the camera is often like 2MP dogshit. So wouldn't it be possible to get one of those very small 4k mini cameras. Mount that on your cheap ass drone, and get a 4k drone for a very low price?

I'm expecting the camera to have some effect on the drone's bouyancy, so that's what I'm curious about.
>>
>>61939378
Yes as long these support OpenWRT.

Myself I would wait for Xiaomi Mi WiFi 3G since it got gigabit ports.
>>
>>61939435
https://audiobudget.com/product/Remax/RM-610D

Audiobudget has about 150 Chinese IEMs reviewed, but only 18 of them were good enough to receive 5 stars. I think that these are one of the cheapest 5-star ones, if not the cheapest.
>>
>>61939440
Sure you could, provided it didn't weigh too much. The problem is you couldn't FPV one of those action cameras.
>>
>>61939440
My cheapshit drone would not be able to carry even a slightly larger camera, it would have to be extremely small. I imagine it would draw more juice as well.
I guess there might be some cheap cameraless drone with enough lift to spare, but it would probably be easier to just build your own.
>>
>>61939471
Or pfsense, if you need an industrial-grade router.

If by "router" you actually mean "WiFi access point", then OpenWRT (or LEDE) is actually what you want.
>>
>>61939300
I also have tinnitus, I don't see how IEMs would do any good. They even caused tinnitus for me in the first place.
>>
>>61939440
Mostly no. The shitty camera that comes with those quads weighs about 10g and is approaching the limit of extra weight they can take. An action cam is about 70g and most toy quads aren't going to be able to lift off with that much extra weight. However, the Runcam split is a 1080p60 cam which weighs about 25g so that might just work.

>flat keys

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I'm seriously asking: What exactly do you mean by "flat" keys?

Like scissor switches on a laptop? I think I have seen some keyboards like that not on a laptop but I don't really know what I would recommend.

If it's shorter key travel you're after then you could just go for a mechanical keyboard with switches that don't need to travel very far down to the actuation point. Like browns, you barely have to touch them to get the key registered. There's also some "gaming" switches you barely have to touch to get the keystroke registered but none of those are tactile so they are a no-go for me.

Try a few switches out if you haven't, it may be that you just think you need a flat keyboard because you've just tried those silly membrane keyboards that require you to bottom out the key to get the keystroke registered. You don't have to bottom out any of the mechanical switches but how far you have to press down to the actuation point varies.

That's rubber dome switches on that keyboard. No wonder you want a "flat" keyboard if that's what you're used to, you have to press those all the way down to get the keystroke registered.

This isn't the case with mechanical switches, their actuation point is far above the bottom of the length the key can travel. How high depends on the actual switch. Browns don't have to travel very far, blues a bit further. Those "gaming" switches have very short keytravel but they lack tactile feedback (a "bump" so you can feel when the keystroke is registered). If you're used to shitty membrane keyboards then you don't know what I'm talking about when I say tactile or non-tactile switches.

You should go to a bunch of stores with mechanical keyboards and try them out for yourself. You can't know what kind of switch you prefer without trying and preferences vary. What I can tell you is that you'll likely find that a keyboard with normal height and keyboard will suit you just fine as long as the switches you're using have a high actuation point (the point where the keystroke is registered). And almost any mechanical switch will feel much better than any and all shitty membrane keyboards.

>>
>>61940555
>important that the moment you feel the feedback should also be the moment the input is registered

I agree and that is why I prefer "tactile" switches myself. These are switches which has a "bump" where the keystroke is registered. This slight bump is something you feel and with blue switches you can also hear a "click". This "actuation point" is usually above or at half the keys total travel. You'll rarely bottom out the keys if you get used to tactile switches.

Non-tactile mechanical switches like MX Red also have a high actuation point so you don't have to press the keys down very far - but they don't have the "bump" or the satisfying click sound of blues so you have no idea when you've pressed the key far enough down. This is why some who use red tend to bottom down the keys - like they are using a membrane keyboard or something.

Preferences here are very personal. The best way to find out what suits you is to try a bunch of keyboard switches in a store. The important thing is what key switch the keyboards you try have, not the keyboard brand itself. Most high-end keyboards like duck duck shine and hyperx allow and so on are available with brown, blue and red switches, sometimes even black and clear too (more rare).
>>
>>61940681
I'll try and test a few out the next time i'm in a store that has them. Very good image. Makes it very clear what I'm looking at.
>>
>>61940066
the only thing better on stock miui rom is the extra battery juice it can squeeze, but miui is very aggressive with memory management and force closing apps
the pros on lineage:
near stock, nexus like android
much more fluid experience
memory management is extremely better
notifications are not delayed
also you get a few extra gigabytes of storage since lineage is much liter than miui

camera: I haven't tested it out yet on lineage, but it was very shitty in low light on miui anyway, in sun light it's ok

Loo review episode one

my sanremu 7010 LUC-SA Folding Knife arrived today, subtely declared on the package as a "multi tool", which isn't a lie, because i can use this both for stabbing homeless people, and for when i decide to run a warm bath and end it all.
anyway, i needed to poop so i figured i'd save some time and open it then
i was impressed initially by the box it came in, which was unexpected. the back had some info on it and states its hardness as "HRC58" which is allegedly a good thing.
in terms of weight its nice and heavy, makes it feel like im not just holding a knife i bought for 6$ from china because the capitalism jew has led me to think that spending = happiness.
in terms of ease of use, the blade flips out very quickly and easily, while putting it away requires you to, atleast momentarily, have your finger in front of the blade to push the frame back out of its way, which is a slight annoyance.
the knife was pretty sharp, and managed to go pretty deep in the toilet paper with a relatively light stab.
overall i give it a 8/10. however don't take this with any validity because i don't know anything about knifes.
sorry for the rushed review, i need to go before my mum comes home and tells me off for stealing her credit card to buy chinkshit again
see you next time on the poo review or loo review or whatever the fuck i called this

>>61944405
Because it an easier shave, and, after the initial investment, it's much cheaper, as you can get 100 top-of-the-line blades for like 10 bucks. Even if you only use each side one time, you get 200 shaves for 10 bucks.
>>
>>61944405
Disposable razors are trash, and the razors with disposable heads are overpriced by like 1000%.

For the price of a pack of 4 disposable razor heads, you can buy 100+ razor blades.

Safety razors are just as easy to use. Multiblade is a meme.
>>
>>61944405
10 cents per blade and they shave better.
>>
>>61944405
A couple reasons really
>no razor bumps
>no razor burn
>cleaner shave
And most importantly
>not getting kiked by the cartridge jew
I get like 30 ultra sharp blades for $10 one blade lasts 2-3 shaves.
>>
>>61944451
Cheapest disposable that I've found is the bic sensitive razors. 36 single blade disposables for 10 bucks. Single edge. Even that is 5.55 times the price of Astra Platinum. And those blades aren't nearly as good, in my opinion.
>>
>>61944470

>>61944554
I use the Parker Synthetic brush. Like 20 bucks online. Looks weird when wet, but feels softer than any other brush I've ever used, and still does a great job applying soap.
>>
>>61944554
>>61944555

Idk I use a cheap shaving brush.
Actually I tried the astras and the sharks when I bought a sampler pack. Feathers are ultra smooth. It's probably all the same shit though at a certain point.
>>
>>61944608
I think "platinum coating" makes a huge difference. From what I can tell, doing a quick search, Feathers are platinum coated, just like Astra Platinum. I wouldn't mind giving them a shot, but I've still got like 80 Astra blades less, and the price difference is huge, so even if I remember, I don't think I can justify the price difference.
>>
>>61944633
Yea I'll actually just switch to astras. Price is way better. I need to buy new blades soon anyways. I got like 3 left.

I fucking hate goddamn chink scamming pieces of shit!!
I ordered my Zuk Z2 Pro 6 weeks ago, and I have it for around 3. I ordered some cases and protectors for it BUT THEY HAVEN'T ARRIVED YET.
And of course that fucking glass piece of shit slid down the night table like a baseball player while I was sleeping and landed back first from about 2 feet height (60 cm). Now the entire back is fucking shattered.
I KNEW this can happen so I ordered cases and shit but what could have I done if I got fucking chinked and they never arrived?!
On a related note, how do I get a refund for an order that never arrived from BangGood?
>>

But they do get dirty if you spill something on it or get dirt on it.

Honestly, though, they are like $10 each. I'd care more if they got worn out in a year or three if they were $100.

I do like mine but it's not something I couldn't have lived without. It's not like you really need to have a mousepad under your keyboard.

same here, have it for a couple of months and its pretty decent. as you can expect its not really 'true rms', and i wouldnt poke with it on voltages above mains, but it has a whole lot of functionality and its quite fast both to settle on values and at detecting continuity (i find it much faster than the 8004)

It has the best reviews of the whole Skmei line, they're mostly known for making decent Casio knockoffs but I wanted to try something like this. I definitely like the poo green one more than the black double readout one. Both seem nice though in first impression.

other thing is reading distance, just cause the laser is in the right spot doesnt meant the reading will be accurate, since the reader will probably be averaging a wide portion of the image (which gets wider as distance to reading point increases). just some brain food for those thinking about getting one of these just to read temperature at a few meters

tbf i get that but at the same time i dont mind hairy-ish women. Full pcos is gross, but a little armpit hair isn't terrible. Not a fetish or anything, but it's not repulsive. Although if you're someone who looks like a monkey some grooming wouldn't hurt

even if that thing shaved its armpits it would still look like a hideous turd golem
>>
>>61948530
Well it's not terrible, but if there's a choice between the 2, would you prefer the same girl or whatever you're into with shaved armpits or not shaved? Shaving them takes max 2 minutes every few days, it's not that difficult

Ordered a bluboo S1 (Mi Mix knockoff for $159 US with a Helio p25) while drunk a while back off GB.
Phone arived, surprisingly good package, stock android 7 with the least bloat I've ever seen, gorgeous screen etc. Camera was a bit shit but no worse than the redmi note 4x.
But the MAC address changed every 5 minutes & on every reboot.
Chewed up the DHCP lease of every wifi I was on and basically made the thing unusable on wifi.
Requested a refund on day 2 and GB have said ok.
>>
Anon with the Redmi Note 3 which were asking yesterday about ROMs.
I got XiaoMiTool and flashed Xiaomi.eu, LineageOS and NitrogenOS with Radon Kernel.

Both LOS and Xiaomi.eu worked great, but I settled with LineageOS because it gives me the latest Android version. Everything feels smoother and battery life seems better.

If anything happens, I'll simply move to Xiaomi.eu instead of the chink, at least it got all customizations, plus some nice debloating and tweaks.
>>
>>61948766
I was also pretty tempted to try root the device and just spoof the MAC to a fixed address, but with a locked stock recovery (in chinese, no less), and no working custom recovery rom out there for ANY Helio p25 chipset phone with no sign that would change anytime soon (all current p25 phones are similarly priced pieces of shit from other no-name brands) I decided not to brick my phone by trying to compile my own custom recovery rom.

>>61948743
You were actually lucky, the universe has spared you from having such a shit phone. Buy Lenovo or Xiaomi only.

Checked my mailbox just now, I got a small package with thick supposedly 40A O-rings ("rubber gasket") for Cherry MX keys.

They look alright so they are probably fine O-rings. Can't say for sure, though, since I haven't actually tested them out just yet. Perhaps I will report back on the status of the Blue O-rings at a later date. I already put slightly thinner Red O-rings on this keyboard and they seem to work fine since this keyboards "Content" switches seem to be slightly shorter than the Cherry MX switches.

They're not as bad as the Ali shill tries to make them.
I shouldn't say this because it might decrease my chances getting a refund if I'll need it, but their support just works like an algorithm:
>did he pay for insurances?
sorry, we can't do nothing about it
>does he insist for a refund
as a sign of good will, here's 70-90% of what you've payed
>he still insists
okay, here's your full refund

Just be polite, don't be a retard, keep insisting with proof and arguments and you'll get all your money back (without appealing to PayPal or paying for insurance).

Overall, not too good for a 15 bucks purchase, but not too bad that I regret buying

Does someone use a custom ROM for his Redmi 4 pro/prime here and could share the experience? All ROM on XDA seem to have camera and video recording issues which would suck rly bad. Tho my phone got shipped with a vendor ROM and bugs out sometimes.

If the reviews and teardowns are any indication it has no voltage clamps and relies entirely on resistance limiting. It does withstand at least 1000V though, until around 1500-2000V where the switch contacts will begin to arc.

You can get a proper strap for the nomos, but it'll cost a bit since non-garbage nomos knockoffs unsurpirsingly aren't $5 nor $20.
The cheapest nomos knockoffs have little to do with nomos as the dials and cases aren't more than vaguely similar while everything else is plain wrong. Get a Junghans or Nomos knockoff from Goodstuffs (or taobao if you can find it there) instead. Or try """nomos""" and a ~$15 leather strap.

Nice thanks for the info.
The ROM builder seems crazily convenient.
Would going for the battery saving option make switching between apps or applaunches lag?
Wat I also experienced on the vendor ROM was missing notifications from messages. As if its killing background stuff v aggressively. Does similar stuff happen on any of the govtuner mod versions?
There doesnt seem to be info about this on the website.
