>come late 2016 it still isn't anywhere near finished
>intel doubles down and spends more money to get it complete
>mid 2017, fab still very much under construction, likely will be into 2018
>facility won't be ready to process wafers until late 2019 or early 2020
>situation is compounded by poor 10nm performance
>having no interim solutions intel will likely make unprecedented move and partner with UMC to fast track a process in a facility in China
