i agree. i really tried hard to like gnome the past few weeks but i can't bear it anymore and switch back to xfce.

I always had problem with dual screen: when I set fullscreen app on one monitor and get focus on second one the panel from the first one brings itself on top of the fullscreen window. Also ocassional fuckups when connecting/disconnecting second screen
