First for Gear VR.
>>
Echo Arena, Onward & Minecraft best games right now. Can't wait for PayDay 2 & Fallout 4
>>
What is the best VR controller?
>>
>>61901367
The Gear VR Controller. It's new.
>>
>>61901367
Subjective, I personally prefer the Touch controllers over the Vive wands
>>
>>61901071
Gorn gives me a workout, Pavlov is histerical fun, Superhot VR is meh, but so far Arizona Sunshine is my favorite. Hope to see more VR games with real depth come out soon.
>>
If you buy the touch controllers separately from oculus do they come with a sensor? And is a second sensor for them necessary or just preferable?
>>
>>61901822
They come with a sensor, I think you need it to track the controllers well.
>>
>>61901822
They come with one. Technically it could work with one camera but occlusion issues will be everywhere.

I have a four sensor set up myself
>>
>>61901081
I find it better for porn and videos because it's wireless
>>
My good friend is a VR dev and let me play around with the knuckle controllers. They're fucking incredible, so much more natural and immersive. I can't wait until they're commercially available.
>>
just sent my Rift back to Amazon, whan an underwhelming experience that was.

I just could not get over the resolution, everything looked so pixelated and never did i get "immersed" in a way that it didn't bother me.
>>
Does the LibOVRWrapper ever interfere with games that use the newer SDK?
>>
Hi, are cardboardfags welcome here?
>>
Is there a way to get Nvidia 3D Vision to work in Virtual Desktop? It seems like you can't even install it without having one of the Nvidia approved 3D Vision peripherals plugged in.
>>
How good is the touch controller? Does it work with flight simulators?

Dolphin VR works better than it has any right to... I wish I didn't get motion sickness so I could actually enjoy it for more than 10 minutes.
>>
>>61901352
Are they still gonna release fallout 4 as a full price title or they giving a discount to people that already own it?

Whatever you guys do, don't buy into VR right now. Buying in this early would be like adopting betamax right before VHS was released. Next year there are going to be some really amazing contenders in the VR market, and the year after that is when VR is expected to go mainstream with the next generation of headsets.

Technology that is forthcoming in the next year is advanced eye-tracking enabling foveated rendering on 4K displays @ 120hz capable of being run by current hardware (GTX 980 or better) no sweat. Also, wireless and minimal headsets that are non-intrusive (think weight and size of a pair of wayfarer sunglasses). Seriously guys, do a little homework and don't buy in yet. I'm not saying VR is a meme either, it absolutely is the future, but just wait a little bit longer. One more year boys, that's all.
>>
>>61903007
Maybe your PC is not upto spec, the games I've been playing have been great.
>>
>>61905254
The market needs to be worth something to ensure future investments, also, I'm having a ton of fun and looking forward to future developments, even if I get a new headset a year from now I've definitely got my money's worth out of the rift
>>
>>61905341
That's fine. It's like buying an atari a year before nintendo. If you're really into VR as a hobby then yeah, that's justified. But for most people it's better to wait till next year when the whole industry explodes. None of this is up in the air or speculative. These aren't promises or predictions. I'm reporting facts to you, many of which I got from meeting with insiders at the CES convention in Las Vegas earlier this year, so my information is coming directly from the companies that are producing this technology.

theres more vr games now than games that will ever be made for the Nintendo Switch. It's not a bad time to buy VR its just that the headset tech should be better. Even saying that, I feel like I bought a console and have gotten fresh new experiences. Plus, I can sell the headset and pay the $100 or $200 it will cost to upgrade to the next gen hardware if that ever happens

Wheres the fan made update for Honey Select VR?
>>
>>61905254
I spent $400 on a headest, and another $100 on a bunch fo games that have been entertaining me for the last week. I don't think its awful to get into it now. The games are fun

Hi, OP stepping in here for once. Beware of VR Lens Lab, many users have reported distortion problems with their lenses. Instead, look in the pastebin guide for whichever headset you have, there are links to alternatives there.

No word on this yet.
