Even if they are shit its welcome because it breaks the routine and you never know what is gonna be next. As long as the browser doesn't lose functionality doing stupid changes isnt too bad.

Btw is it a common thing for nightly ? Ive been using it for a week or so and im sure stable Fx never changed icons in this way.

Nightly has never changed this frequently but it has gone through a few different logos over the years.

Years back it used to be called "Minefield" and it had a generic globe icon with a lit fuse sticking out of it.

Then Mozilla changed the icon to a dark globe with lights.

Then they changed to a slightly more detailed globe icon.

The rainbow firefox icon is likely going to be the one they settle on after they're done cycling through these weird ones.
