I use it with an old as 3rd gen i5+1050Ti and runs perfect.

I did not have any issues running it with a G550+GT730 neither.

With your config with mpv you can upscale to 8K with nnedi3 126 neurons or something better than NGU-AA VeryHigh but that's impossible with madVR.

It sure consumes a lot of memory, but 15% CPU isn't that much, not enough to slow down MPC+MadVR or the computer.

I am used to K-lite MPC and memorized where to find and change tweaks/options, shortcuts, hotkeys that i need, and the BOSS KEY.

I just bought a PS4 for my games; never been happier. My workstation is now 100% clean and doesn't even need a powerful GPU (except what I need for mpv) and runs only linux. Meanwhile games just work without having to go through the hassle of dual booting, WINE, debugging issues with the graphics drivers, and so on.

I'll grant you that, they're all really quite bad. What I did was look at how I listen my music and organize my files accordingly so that now I'm only using mpv + a couple of scripts to listen to it.
In the end all this foobar ricing was kind of a waste of time.

Is there anyway to make image subtitles display outside the video area? I have a video file which was cropped to the original aspect ratio of 4:3 but sometimes the bluray subtitles take advantage of the wider screen space of the raw video and they get cut off even in fullscreen mode where that space would be available.

no. The upload frame refers to the time it takes from the decoder to get to the GPU. When the frame is being decoded, it's obviously already in your system RAM, which means SMB has no influence whatsoever.
