I'm a shill because I want servo? I mean, I understand you don't like mozilla or some of their practices, but servo is a great evolution for perf in firefox.
For now, I wouldn't use palemoon over nightly because it feels sluggish. I hope they add servo components in palemoon.
Funny thing is I've been using opera for a decade, even stayed when it became a chrome clone, but I try nightly from time to time and I've got to say I was happy that mozilla came back in the performance race with servo.
I haven't used opera since nighly 57 has been released. You should be glad at the incoming perf increase of palemoon.

Because I use Waterfox,and I've already seen how butthurt the Pale Moon community is that Alex isn't joining up with them to make their Firefox killer.

I use Pale Moon. There's nothing slow about this browser. The reason I use it is because I trust it. For many years I used Firefox. I would go into "about:config" to search for and remove all references to Google. Firefox contained many, including an intrusive thing called Safebrowsing.

Upon a new install of Firefox, I would spend considerable time disabling and removing Google stuff. Pale Moon has none of it. All of that stuff is already stripped out in Pale Moon, along with a variety of other intrusive stuff typically found in Firefox. Even Waterfox comes with the Safebrowsing junk built in. Pale Moon comes stripped clean of all of that junk. I can't ever consider using Chrome or a Chrome fork because the addons are scanty and inferior. Pale Moon comes stripped down, and then I can apply my suite of addons to make Pale Moon the perfect browser according to my personal specs.
