Why are there so many memes about hating Hotmail? I have one

It's just inferior to gmail. But if you like it then I wouldn't worry about it.

Flawed 2FA, once you have it enabled on a device it can never be removed. If an attacker manages to get your password and personal information, contacts support and gets access to it bypassing 2FA then adding it to their device they will always have access to it.

If I see someone with a hotmail address it's an instant red flag. You'd better be a woman or a senile old person.
Now, I haven't touched hotmail in over 5 years and it's theoretically possible that Pajeetsoft hired some competent people and made it good, but seeing how shit their other products have been recently that's very unlikely.
That said you shouldn't use Gmail either. Yes, it's technically pretty good, but it's owned by Google.
