The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.

Why does most RED buffer come from mainstream music? Everyone cried about the WCD, the biggest collection of music, dying out. But it turns out all these fucks just use private trackers to download Radiohead and Grimes.
>ugc still down
>ggn purged old accounts long ago and registration is closed
Why can't a game tracker stay up for more than a couple of months.
>another day of kino
What does it mean when multiple audio tracks have distinct spectral lines at 16kHz and 20kHz but still have the full frequency range expected of lossless audio? Album is from 1990 if that info helps.
Aloha awesome person! ;) We heard your request to release the bonus points :D <3 but sadly our main developer sprained his wrist writing new amazing features for APOLLO <3 :( We ask you to kindly donate BITCOIN to cover his medical expenses!!! 8D
Is there a tracker for "conspiracy theory" type material, like high quality evidence videos/photos/recordings and various leaks?
These things are some of the hardest to find in good quality. Youtube is full of it, but it's often compressed to death. I was thinking this would actually be a good idea for a tracker.
Not necessarily "conspiracy" at all costs, but in general just evidence material that is often also withheld from the public/censored etc. Or maybe hobby documentaries.
I think this would be good for a tracker because while it's possible to share such stuff via P2P, it can be hard to find and you need to guess the right keywords, while a tracker could just bring together all such related things.
You could just follow outlets like WikiLeaks, TomDispatch, TheIntercept, et. al for confidential information being unearthed or at least coherently pieced together. That's if you want political material of course. You didn't specify if you wanted UFOs or Bigfoot or what.
Read this thread, how is this shit even /g/ related? A new one is spammed every single day and it's just autists shilling honeypots or gay anime shit. And if you ask for an invite, they just report your throwaway email and say "HA, now you're permbanned from joining!"
Pls sage this shit when you post.
Is telling weebs who don't know any better to sage against the rules too?
>>>>>> HOW TO FAKE EAC CHECKSUM <<<<<<<
1. If log has no checksum add one from another log
2. Set breakpoint at 0x401DEF and run to it
3. Look at address in ECX register, this is the correct checksum!
4. Replace the checksum in the log with new valid checksum!
if staff were capable of implementing a bonus point system, they would have done it already. without A, who previously handled everything, the current staff team are just a bunch of forum mods and torrent clean-up volunteers, in way over their heads.
I had an account on what.cd back when that existed, I was invited there. What road could I take to get back into private trackers? I do rip some FLAC-music, but I use Whipper to do so and not EAC. I usually rip rare music though.
RED is the new What. They have the exact same interview as WCD so it should be easy to pass. Key difference is RED don't have V2 as part of their "perfect 3" anymore
Whipper isn't an approved ripper yet but it's in the approved suggestions forum. They're working on some proprietary checksum blob for it
Just a friendly reminder to let you know that this is the last day of the double up special offer so get in there while you can as you will not see it again for a while!
>tfw failed Spectral Analysis 101
Fuck, I have to take a whole nother semester just to download some Beatles?!? Wtf!
Any right wing private trackers out there?
Redacted now has more enabled users than Apollo.
RED: Enabled users: 25,666
APL: Enabled users: 24,793
What else can they do? No one wants to be on APL. Pic related.
>still have to wait for some cucks to donate 2mil yen to the pool
>difference of only 30 000 torrnts
>new users in Apolo can actually downlaod torrents
>uploaders on Apollo are no fucked in the as by the autistic seddbox users
>users of Apollo don't ned to pay to pirate
>the staff on Apollo is friendly and listens to his users
>the economy in Apollo is alive
>Apollo sounds a lot better than redtarded
>tfw another day
>another day of which I am not on the kay gay
>tfw I am surprisingly okay
>needs a private tracker for video games
What kino did you watch?
Reminder that no one cares about APL vs RED and that any music connoisseur uses them only for pyramid climbing.
Keep your childish politics in there.
there's' nothing wrong with being a weeb
isn't it dead?
it's shit and has been shit from the start. apparently they didn't delete my account despite not doing anything to it in years
lol reddit. let my account expire
>HDBits (not that HD-Bits.com or HD-Bits.ro shit)
let my account expire years ago, did something change? what makes it any good?
still some good stuff there
okay but i just download shit
is it good or is it dead like ftwr used to be?
lol magic tricks
um what? That isn't how it works dipshit...
Someone who seeds for a year is still going to get more yen than someone who's seeding for a few months, just NOT AS MUCH as the OLD FORMULA
>long term seeding
Sometimes I forget that this place is filled with pajeets
People seeding torrents for over 4 years now make less than 20% of what they used to.
The current system pretty much capped the bonus at 2yrs just to appease 3rd world shitters like you
AB is taking the extreme opposite stance of GGn, while GGn decide to rework their entire site to provide major benefits to those who actually contribute AB is reworking everything to appease to idiots with accounts that are less than 1 yr old
I suspect this has to do with them recruiting everywhere
>on muh easy buffer tracker where everything is literally FL
are you serious...?
It does, there is no extra incentive for seeding anything past the 2yr mark, you're better off making space for newer torrents that will get you actual upload instead of just a subpar yen bonus.
you said you dislike the idea of long term seeding and that torrents should be in a constant state of being replaced by newer versions while letting old shit die
That's pretty much a public tracker
>because a better encode doesn't exist
Then people are incentivized to create a better version and people are rewarded by keeping the torrent alive.
>there are plenty of 5yr old torrents that are the best and final versions
stopped reading there. No lossy format will ever be the 'final version' of any release.
So what do you have to lose then anon.
Instead of shitposting here go copy/pasta your tantrum there. They are the only ones who can answer you retard not anons who have nothing to do with the working of the site
outside of a remux once you get an actual good encode unless you find a better source, which doesn't really exist in most cases, you will never get a better encode
you would maybe have a point several years from now when h265 starts being used and supported
>There are topics there that are several months old without a single reply from staff
That just means they don't get implemented. I've had plenty of threads with replies. Maybe they have no replies because it's a duplicate thread?
His first post wasn't a tantrum at all either.
But yeah I didn't bother to read the whole chain. I believed you that he was throwing a tantrum and wrote my reply based on your shitpost.
no, you can't
you can have different subs but they won't be "better"
>-better filters for a bad source
Already as good as it will ever be like I said before
What the fuck are you even talking about
>-meme 10-bit encode
That was already a meme 5 yrs ago
except being incompatible with a lot of players, screwing up subtitles for anything that isn't libass, forcing you to keep/download 2 extra files even if all you want is one episode on top of making the job of transcoding to play on a potato nearly impossible yes no downsides at all
>incompatible with a lot of players
That's on those players then isn't it? Is it a downside that I can't play it on my psp? What do you think?
>screwing up subtitles
>download 2 extra files
You're not complaining that you have to download a single file for a single episode either. Those could all be a single file so why make the distinction now?
Being incompatible with little to no benefit is a downside
Space is cheap, time isn't for most people
Just try Coalgirls release of Nichijou with a player that doesn't use libass
>Those could all be a single file so why make the distinction now?
because I value organization of my library more than saving about 500MB per show
>benefit is a downside
>doesn't use libass
What are you even trying to say? Who cares that it doesn't run on PSP?
>I value organization
Then you shouldn't have a single problem with extra files.
Shitty movie. Just cringy fetish material by a hack director.
You're the only one posting sexualized images itt and the only one that has that picture saved to his PC. Something to confess?
h4h is supposedly a live, but no one knows for sure since it's that secretive. They change their login urls every so often. Originally they had their login hidden through Asha's Yoga Buffet, but after /ptg/ and Reddit found out, they changed urls and no one has heard if them since.
