I'm starting to look for either a tvbox or a stream/cast dongle(whatever its supposed to be called)
Do you guys have any recommendations? I saw this one on bangood but I wanted to ask here first before making any decisions, in case there is a better device or store to get it from.

Also, is a dongle good enough if I have a 2~3yo smartphone? It seems like they would serve the same purpose as the tvbox without having to get such a large device constantly connected to the TV, but I don't know how well those things work and whether the latency, lag or whatever that I don't even know about yet would be detrimental to the experience. I basically want it to watch movies I'd download before. So I'd like to be able to watch mkv, webms, and whatever other video formats are current.

The carbon is strong, the eyes are metal with ceramic in the middle, the only downside is that the the reel holder is made from plastic. And the foam grip is pretty bad quality, but you can't expect much for a couple of dollars. The rod itself is very strong and it will easily hold strong fish.

I'd advice not to keep it too much under the cover since your underside of the car will rust. Remove the cover as soon as the rain is over or use a ventilated garage/shed (which I presume is not an option since you're looking for a cheaper option). I have a 40+ years old car so I tend to be careful with everything rust related.
Also, if there is hail and you don't want to pay for hail resistant covers, a thicker blanket under the cover usually does the trick.
One option I like to use when I'm camping or leave the car in the open is use a water resistant tarp, it's sturdier and usually can be tied to trees,poles or you can improvise with it and build a cheap shelter with it. Usually a tarp around 4mx4m costs about 20usd and can be found in home improvement shops or shops that have garden supplies.

From what I have seen the xiaomi yi has problems with focus, and the contrast levels are abysmal. Compared to the SJ cameras at least.
But the main reason is that the yi camera is 5 year old tech.
