Why is Threadripper not even that good at transcoding? The 1950X only beats the i9 7900X in 1 out of 3 handbrake tests while the 1920X matches the i7 7820X in HEVC despite costing $200 more. Even worse is how the Ryzen 7s are beaten by the $389 i7 7800X in all 3 tests. Is it only Anandtech that has results like these?

We'd already established when i9 was released that the only way it manages to get it's high performance is by raising the clockspeeds and temps to housefire levels. With the crappy TIM, it can barely overclock. Threadripper can overclock much easier with it's soldered dies. No delidding, no $300 custom loops.

you faggots are gonna shill all day.

the only place intel wins is in 1080p gaming lol.

at 1440p where everyone who will buy these high end cpus, the difference is fucking minimal.

What you do get with ryzen tho is this:
>more cores for less money
>way better value for your money
>performance equal or beating intel in everything that matters.
>still costing fucking less.
>64PCIE lanes
>cooler cpu

You faggots can whine and bitch about your shit tier 1080 gaming. but anyone who buys a cpu like this couldnt give two fucks about 1080p.

You must be quite retarded. How do you even manage to breath?
>>
>>61836344
fine, but the button is like on the outside of the truck, you'll have to stop and get the fuck out (reboot to bios) to adjust your settings for the next turn

0-60 is irrelevant

0-60 being irrelevant is my point. It's a metric for sports cars not semis. If you're buying to for games god help you you aren't going to switch back and forth at every turn.

The difference is pretty negligible, seems like it'd be best to leave it in gaming mode 99% of the time.

Do you expect Brazilians to know English?

I've noticed a large influx of Intel shills that can barely speak English, it's pretty obvious and pathetic at the same time.

I hope you're just a poorfag using a pirated Maya's built in Arnold because there's no fucking excuse to be using that when VRay, Corona, Redshift and Renderman exist.

They cost the same, retard. Intel's more expensive 12+ cores aren't even out yet, and they're likely to reach housefire levels that put even the i9-7900X to shame.

I have a Ryzen 1700. Came from 3570k. AMD is sometimes better than Intel. Intel is sometimes better than AMD. You guys fight iver pointless shit and harsly even buy anything. Just fet whatbworks for you and fuck what everyone elae thibks. I had my 3570k when i was a kid and gaming. Now im picking apart sanboxes malware in VMs and use my "moar corez" AMD. Different strokes for diff folkes. Neither are better AMD just tends to not jew you around. When will these pointless wars end and we can just discuss and not fight?

You know what I'm waiting for? A 35W 4-8 core desktop CPU. I've used a silent PC (with a pretty big radiator and two hueg, slow Noctua fans) for too long to get 95+ W shit that needs real cooling.

I don't care waht DELL sticks in those boxes.
They just want people's money. That doesn't make HEDT the choice for gayman.
Get a 1600X or a 7700K faggot.
>>
>>61837439
NoFan CR-95C is good for completely fanless cooling of any CPU below 95W TDP, without any need for case fans, provided you have a lot of fan grills in your case (most importantly at least one in the top since it relies on convection cooling).
I think they didn't bother to make a new mount for Ryzen, but you can shell out for the one board that has old mount compatibility or just jury-rig something.
Fully fanless PC is pretty nice.
>>
>>61837439
There are the Bristol Ridge 'E' APUs for that.
>>
>>61837761

A few of the motherboards support 3600MHz too, I haven't seen any tests with that.
