I don't know the answer to that, but I do know that you can easily use LUKS on Unix and best part it's probably not backdoored

All my computers, including my phone.
what's wrong with veracrypt you cuck

I use Win 10 on my Desktop and Laptop
My family all use Win 10
My work use Win 7
My collage use Win 7
Might as well use bitlocker on my external hdd
Collage and work have enterprise versions so i can just plug it into one of those computers and hit enable.
I can pause encryption and continue on any win7+ PC even if it isnt on enterprise or pro.
Im not a paranoid conspiracy theorist so i dont worry about the big company looking at my files.
Best of all i know i can plug my hdd into a win computer and not have to worry about downloading decryption programs to access my files, just plug it in and type in my password.
Lifes good, when you just use win 10.
