Deluge stopped opening magnet links somehow from chrome, each time I click a magnet link it asks if I wanna open it with deluge, but the actual "download window" never appears, how do I fix this? I reinstalled deluge, reinstalled chrome, nothing helped..
I've been on this screen for over an hour now.
I can't find any info on this, is it fine?
Should I just keep waiting?
I'm installing from a USB 3.0 flash drive, if that matters.
I feel like this is the most stupid question but can one develop electron apps on windows? I couldn't find any environment setups for windows, only linux
Why does my windows guest under proxmox show the real RAM usage thanks to virtio, but fails to free RAM to the host system? since if I htop I see constantly the full max RAM being reserved.
Previous anon asked if windows even has ballooning drivers - yes it does: virtio and I do have them installed.
gf bought me a pi zero since she knows i like tinkering with shit but i don't know what to do with it. i got a pi3 running pi hole underneath a cabinet, but sort of want to keep this in an area where i can use it more. any ideas of what i should do with it?
I'm gonna get the Audio‑Technica ATH‑AD1000X, but I need a reccomrndation for a good attachable microphone thats compatible with it.
Port scanning my private IP led to some alarming results.Nmap scan report for (my IP)
Host is up (0.00052s latency).
Not shown: 998 closed ports
PORT STATE SERVICE
80/tcp open http
52869/tcp open unknown
First of all I wasn't aware my router was accessible from the internet even though I turned off remote administration. But more importantly, what the fuck is port 52869?
What extensions am I using that are redundant? I've tried to use the advice given on /g/ but some of these add ons overlap, so I should probably cut back.
How would someone "rice" their TV so it could play videos from a USB? Is it possible?
Well looks like i found the "BUG" behind all this.
Shit got fried.
update/install/reinstall siphon the deluge chrome add on? I get this problem from time to time too, however my setup is a bit different: deluge server is on a different machine and is accessed via web gui for me.
So I've run in to an issue where the circuit for my room is shared with my dad's office. we both have fairly beefy rigs + window AC units installed in addition to typical shit you'd have plugged into a bedroom and office.
Very very rarely does this strain the circuit to the point of setting off the breaker, but it is becoming apparent that adding a few hundred extra watts to our circuit as it is now will cause instability. For example, I had a friend come over today with his new laptop and nintendo switch and had them both plugged in and we were gaymin away. My room 's temperature set off my AC unit and the wattage pull made everything lose power for a split second, hard shutting down my computer and generally ruining my afternoon.
A solution I thought of was splitting the circuit into two circuits down at the circuit breaker, is this a feasible solution and how would i do it? IDC if it's illegal our house is from the 1800s and the wiring is already retarded (see my story above).
jesus fucking christ I don't understand how people think 4chan is easier than google. Are you just here for conversation or something? Is google too inhuman for you?
shit talk aside, i suggest google this: "sharp lc-c3237u tv remote"
or see if your smart phone can be used as a remote by googling this:
"use [your smartphone here] as a tv remote"
"sharp lc-c3237u smartphone tv remote compatibility"
I would suggest instead that, rather than toy with unknowns and stuff inside a wall that would be hard to see, why not just pull another cable from the breaker box and install some additional outlets? It's not so much a question of illegality or code violation as whether your home insurer will pay out when you've set the building on fire.
There's a /pcbg/ PC Building General for that, if you're into generals.
See if LineageOS.org has a build for your particular tablet. They should have plenty of instructions for rooting and all that other stuff.
You'd need a managed switch with ports that can be placed into monitor mode and an Ethernet card that does promiscuous mode. Then you can just plug the outside interface and the modem into it and listen all you like.
A quick web search for dlink 528690, count:1, attempts:1Intializing UPnP
Possibly UPnP? You might want to sterilize that router and/or install custom firmware.
Sup /g/. I'm trying to extract .ass subtitles from a mkv and put them on another file. First I used sushi, but I noticed the styling from the original subs was gone. Then I tried aegisub, but same problem. Am I doing something wrong? Pls help.
Are there any konftel experts on /g/ ?
This is a 300wx conference telephone that has to connect to the ip dect 10. According to a video it should go as simple as turning on ip dect 10 and the 300wx conference telephone should registrate it immidiatley. However it always shows that it failed. No matter what i do it doesnt want to connect the ip dect 10 to the 300wx, i tried everything.Does anyone have any expirience with these or any hints as to whats wrong
What's the best manufacturer of enclosures/RAID enclosures? I have 2 2.5 two terabyte drives that I'm looking for a small dual enclosure for, doesn't have to swappable but I just wanted something of quality that's not fuckhuge.
I want to get a dedicated "streaming" media device with an ethernet input for our living room. The chromecast we have at the moment is too slow and unwieldly especially when it comes to 720p+ viewing. I won't be the one using it so an easy to use UI is important.
Is this my best bet? What would you recommend? We would primarily being using it for Plex/Sling/Netflix.
My PC is suddenly shutting off then turning back on again at random times. This started happening after a thunderstorm we had a few weeks back. There was a lightning strike on a power line within a mile knocking us all out of power for 10 minutes or so. Could it have damaged my PSU? I also have an unstable overclock on my memory too but havent had very many issues until now. I switched it back to stock just now to see if I still get problems
So I dug up this router along with 3 inferior ones from my old man's stash of goodies. Connected it to the laptop via an ethernet cable and it doesn't seem to be working properly.
I'm pretty fucking clueless as to how routers work on the whole but I understand that they can NOT be used to connect to the world wide web?
Pic related is the router. Chrome gives me the "dns_probe_possible" error message when trying to connect. I've done all the DNS troubleshooting I can with no results (the 3rd blue light is blinking).
Yeah, guess ill just have to wait. If it's because of the memory it's strange it happens now when the OC was months ago. (Speccy also doesnt read the RAM properly. Says manufacturer is unknown and frequency is way off. Dont know if that's typical of speccy.)
Is there a way to use any printer on linux? I mean, google cloud print seems like an option (but I don't wanna conspire with the botnet really).
Is a windows vm really the only way to go? Or am I missing something? I'm trying to use a canon mf217w, if that helps.
WHY isn't ublock blocking youtube ads? My settings are as pic related. I know ublock is a content blocker, not necessarily an ad blocker, but before I switched to Iridium, I never got ads on Pale Moon, Opera, Waterfox, or Vivaldi, all of which had ublock.
On Asus' website, my RAM kit is compatible with my motherboard.
From emailing someone from Asus, my RAM kit is compatible with my motherboard.
So why do I keep getting blue screens on launch with both sticks inserted and fully seated, but it launches just fine with only 1 stick?
What's the RX 480 of DVB-S add-on cards?
I'm not able to type certain characters into certain fields and it's pissing me off like a mother fucker. Usually it's just a minor impediment, but it's become a real consistent annoyance recently.
Randomly (as it usually is) I can't type certain characters 'g' 'c' 't', ect into a field like CS:GO's console.
I can't type certain characters into fields like (ate)chan's captcha filter such as 'c' 't' 'g' and 'e', ect.
This has happened randomly in other circumstances and they're all equally annoying. Sometimes I can just type the character in an unrelated field (such as a search bar) and then copy and paste or drag 'n drop it into the initial field to solve the issue, but even that isn't working in all cases. Those two examples were merely two general examples, I find the same problem in a multitude of different situations and it's really getting on my nerves.
Any help/suggestions/even insults at this point. I'll take whatever I can get.
/aus/fag here, nbn setup guy didn't arrive on the date so have to wait another week, then the adsl still got cut the following day and now have no internet for up to a week.
question is i want to buy one of those pre-praid wi-fi dongles for the meantime and not sure to get a 3G+ with 3gb or a 4G with 2gb.
why does noctua insist on selling their fans exclusively in poop brown? why do fanboys defend this despite the fact that many more people would consider buying their fans if they matched anything? why do these same fanboys insist that their regular fans are interchangeable with their "industrial" fans and whatever their cheaper, worse, and still ugly grey fans?
if noctua made fans that were just white and black I would get them. or they could do something cool like corsair did where you can take out the plastic ring and exchange it or even paint it yourself. I got some and they come with red, blue, and white rings, all for less than a noctua fan
Has nothing to do with the keyboard, doofus. If I click on the search bar I can type any character. It's only in certain fields that I can't type certain characters. Both the fields and the characters seem random.
i used it ages ago for dualbooting with windows
but i went back to grub2
grub2's syntax isn't actually that bad, here's what mine currently looks like
grub-mkconfig likes to generate really verbose configs, but most of it isn't actually needed, i just write one myself
What is the best PDF printer? I'm using CC PDF Converter that has a PDF printer driver too and it's nice but the settings are retarded, I can't set to automatically resize images to fit in A4. Do you know any PDF printer that can do this?
36 hours a week nonstop.
You dont need to be good, just finish shit you were asked to, doesnt matter if its good coding or bad coding.
Still you might wanna learn how code properly.
Not the asker, but software engineering is a lot better if you write good code. There are 'paradigms' of programming like functional programming that are going to help you write terse code that's easier to read than code of simpler paradigms.
Basically the most important thing is to force yourself to learn
I installed flash player for 8 minutes on my system to try some stupid flash game. Should I be worried about some exploit from that. It wasn't some shady website but I've come to really distrust flash. Linux system of course.
Thoughts or opinions about the pixel? Getting a new phone soon and deciding between it and the gs8
I'd appreciate help forwarding email from my school's email system, which sucks ass.
studmail.brooklyn.cuny.edu is what we use with the account emails being like [email protected]
this version of OWA has no way to establish forwarding rules
I want to try and access it via Thunderbird to forward it from there, but I'm having no luck connecting the account. Anyone can say what I should put here?
naturally my college's website is incredibly dated and full of erroneous info on the matter
fill in those mail server details (incoming & outgoing, port numbers, SSL or not, etc) you should be able to find those details under your outlook account
I can't find it
I don't think it's really an outlook account, I can't login with it via https://portal.office.com/ or anything
What are some tools/frameworks I can use to make interactive graphics for/with C++?
At the moment I'm looking at either OpenGL or SFML, but I don't know which one would be better. Want to make something simple at the moment like an interactive graph.
is there a stream viewer that lets you view chat in a periscope like manner?
can vlc take chats and render them like subtitles?
So I dumpster dived an intact Scythe Mugen 2 Rev B. incl. mounts etc.
Anything fun I can do with it?
My current CPU cooling solution is just as effective judging by benchmarks.
It's too fuckhuge to put into htpc.
Using as GPU cooler also won't do, as I don't have enough space in case (due to the aforementioned fuckhugeness).
Since it's just heat dissipation w/o condenser it's only good for cooling already warm things at cost of ambient temps.
Perhaps I should mount it to a central heating radiator to get better heating during winter?
Any ideas? Would /diy/ be a better place to ask?
Should I buy? I'm really leaning towards this one.
>muh build quality
sorry im actually just retarded and misread stuff. whats its actually doing is the ip found (using the site anon posted) doesnt match the ip in the vpn settings, both of which are different from my actual ip
its private internet access to answer your question though.
what the fuck happened to twitter account creation?
literally every account i make gets locked instantly and i need to add phone number to it
and when i add one (burnerapp number) i get pic related
i need to set up a couple for some nefarious activity i have planned in about 13 months but this shit doesnt work
is it just best to order free pay-as-you-go sim cards and use them? would that work?
What is this shit that I occasionally see on some Internet websites' address? "www2", "www5", etc.
tar has too fucking many options
How do extract either only a single file or a single directory from a large archive?
I've been through the manpage twice and I thought it might be -T but that didn't work.
for tv with usb ports - older ones they can do avi and mp4 only. otherwise get a blu ray player or fancy cable box or chromecast or set up home streaming through raspberry pi or compute stick
Recently colours haven't been displaying correctly in firefox. Left is firefox, right is ps showing the correct colours. It seems like it's something to do with colour spaces but why would it have only started happening recently? Happens in chrome too but the colours are wrong in a different way.
FX 3800 looks to be GTS 250 territory. It's basically little faster than current-gen onboard. Basically worth $10-15 if you really need a card.
I'm not getting the 4000 at all. It looks to be a housefire Fermi (GF100 ie GTX 480/470/465), but its scores are half that of a GTX 480. DId nvidia cut it down to nothing and sell it for $1100? It scores lower than the abortion that was the GTX 465.
I'd say $15 for that. It's twice as fast as the 3800, but you can get better cards for $25-30.
If you have something better than a GTX 460/5770, don't bother with either.
Callisto is so fucking hot. Why would a poster of such a fine creature not be allowed?
I have a 2x4GB kit of ram. I've tested both sticks separately, and they both work fine on their own. Whenever I try using both together, however, it blue screens some time between "Press [key] for muh bios" and Win10 login screen. Over time, I've been getting sick of Windows, and am genuinely willing to convert over completely to some flavour of Linux. Being a newb to Linux, I was considering Ubuntu. I have some questions, for any anons with knowledge on the following.
Again, being a new to Linux as a whole (only experience was simply just setting up a Mint VM in college about 2 years ago), would Ubuntu be a good starter? I keep seeing Ubuntu & Mint being thrown around as 2 of the better starting points for Linux.
Would I still have the same problem trying to use both sticks of RAM on a Linux-based system?
Also, how well does WINE run things nowadays? I remember trying it on my Macbook ages ago to play Binding of Isaac and it ran pretty nicely, so has it gotten better within the last 4 years or so?
Lastly, does anyone have that large image of the "babbies guide to linux", or whatever it's called?
You're using wrong slots then.
There's no general guidelines, all manufacturers have their own ways and they even differ between models.
Try all combinations even if manual explicitly says to insert into slots "1 and 2". Disregard what is says.
Just try all combinations. One will work without bluescreening.
Unless your mobo only has two slots then ram itself is probably fucked.
OS has nothing to do with it, 100% hardware problem.
I've used every slot combination on this, which is what's the freaky thing.
I'd like to RMA it, but living in Australia, the shipping from here to there is at least $20 on top of the $90 (plus $20 at the time for shipping), so I'm really not keen on doing that.
I just got an iPhone from work recently. I was fucking around with it and snapping pictures when I remembered that Apple loves their iCloud botnet bullshit.
I quickly went into the settings menu and disabled all the iCloud related shit I could find.
I have an Apple ID, but I do not recall setting up an iCloud.
How can I make sure that nothing was shared without my knowledge without setting up an iCloud?
Who would iCloud share that shit with anyway? My contacts?
>I've used every slot combination on this, which is what's the freaky thing.
Do it again. Thoroughly.
It's a common problem and in 99% cases this is precisely the fix.
Which is why I insist you do it again, and don't skip anything even if it seems stupid, like trying slots 1 and 4, or 2 and 3.
Also make sure you're not getting any false-positives (that you never get bluescreens with just one stick).
That'd throw your testing out the window.
Is it possible to have my computer operate a TV and monitor simultaneously? Like have my computer play movies on the TV with sound coming out of the TV and on the monitor and it's speakers have music playing? How would I go about doing that?
Is FreeSync just a meme to get me shell out an extra $50?
Yes, depends on the audio routing setup. For instance I can output to my TV over HDMI and then use my laptop speakers.
On a desktop you might need to find an option to "unpair" your front and rear audio connectors if using those.
Also in your players set the output devices correctly instead of automatically (which uses your single "default" output device).
I like it, makes most of my games feel smooth even though it's only running at like 50fps, instead of 144fps. I see no reason not to get freesync/g-sync at this point.
Shame it locks you into a GPU vendor though.
Yes. It's just a matter of properly connecting all devices and selecting the right output for each audio channel.
Video is even easier to set up, OS will just treat TV as a monitor.
1. Connecting is handled by your OS (assuming you have enough input/output plugs in your mobo); just plug everything in.
2. As for selection of right outputs just get a good playback software. Most have the option, just saying some minimalist BS might not have it. I know VLC has it.
Here's an example.
Foobar would output to the laptop's speakers, and MPC-HC would output over HDMI to a TV.
Primary Sound Driver/System default is whatever is selected in Windows' audio configuration.
Connect the monitor using some interface like HDMI, which can support both video and audio. Connect the TV using two cables: one supporting video (it can be HDMI again) and one being a 3.5mm audio cable (the kind you use for headphones and shit). I hope your TV has an input like that. Now set your system up so that it's displaying to both screens at once, like if you had two monitors on your desk.
Open your movie player and go into its settings. Change the audio output device to your sound card/speakers/whatever it is your computer calls that headphone jack. The key is to do this from within the movie player program itself. Your system default audio needs to be set to the monitor's HDMI connection.
Now move the movie player program to the TV window, maximize and start playback. Then go back to your monitor and open your game. The game audio should come through your system's default audio device, the HDMI connection to the monitor.
My ryzen Linux machine keeps crashing when compiling or converting videos using multiple threads.
Everything just freezes and and the screen goes black, while the power LED ist still on.
Anything I can do about that? Might it be RAM related?
My concern was with him using two HDMI ports on the same device, like a graphics card, and the audio not being "channeled" (for lack of a less confusing choice of word) correctly. I've had that happen before in the past. Also his only second connection might be a mobo VGA port or something which won't carry the audio stream. Spelling it out this way makes sure that he puts the TV on the inferior connection, since it's less important than getting the gaming setup right.
I want to know the ins and outs of my computer but i have no passion for this shit and i don't know where to start what do i do?
I thought that there was only an issue with compiling though?
I can consistently crash my machine though by running ffmpeg -threads 15 though. That's why I thought it might be something else.
I'm also on kernel 4.12.4 for which I read somewhere the issue was already fixed.
If a CPU & mobo support ECC, does it actually need it?
My plan is getting a dual Xeon setup and 128GB RAM for a few separate VM's, using their own monitors. First of all, I'd have no idea how, but I'd try and figure it out by then.
not sure, but I know at Amazon if you order something and later you report to them that the product got stolen or damaged, they instantly pay you the money back
the ones that you see on your keyboard
if im correct, iCloud is """"""private"""""" until shared with someone else
Corporate network blocks some ports I need to use for a week, in what way can I overcome that?
As far as I can see, all computers automatically get and set proxy settings to a HTTP proxy(port 80) which requires authentication(currently logged in user on windows).
Also, computers use Windows 7 and TNG Forefront seems to be at the front.
I've tried proxifier but can't see how do get around the port blocking.
Obviously I don't have admin privileges here, so for VPNs I can only use stuff that's native to Windows 7, so does anyone have some insight to that? What would I need to set up on my home computer to be able to connect to it via the native Windows 7 VPN features?
>I know at Amazon if you order something and later you report to them that the product got stolen or damaged, they instantly pay you the money back
That is literally the one thing I've heard of people being banned for doing. But those stories are what has made me paranoid about what other borderline scummy behavior could cause me to lose my account. Would be devastated if I did somehow, considering I get like 90% of my food and pretty much all other purchases through Amazon these days and step out of my house maybe once every week or two at best.
Also forgot to mention, the main problem is that a piece of software does connections over a blocked port, so the solution would either be to mask it(vpn) or force it through another port that's open
How do I make SublimeText (or any other text editor) have those Eclipse features (MinGW / C++): mouse over shows info, ctrl + click takes me to the definition, auto completion...
I love how smart the Eclipse C++ intellisense (I think that's how it's called) is at finding the correct includes (if it doesn't find at first it will find when I build). I think the Netbeans one works the same way.
But when I try to make SublimeText do that it finds the VS compiler / includes (i'm not using them, they're not even in the PATH).
Secondary display/taskbar issue:
I have hdmi running from a windows 10 laptop to tv. For years, I could close the laptop lid and the taskbar from the main laptop screen would appear on my tv. Yesterday, I opened steam and clicked the "big picture mode". It did some weird shit and opened on external monitor above my laptop, because I forgot I had tweaked the settings in steam. Anyway, ever since then, I cannot get the taskbar to appear on my tv. I can move it there, I can make it so a taskbar appears on all screens, or I can make it the main display so it will have the taskbar.... but all those options suck dick. How to get muh taskbar back /g/entoomen?
Isn't there a setting in Windows for "when my laptop lid closes, do nothing to my display?" Because that somehow may have been turned on and now your "primary display" is staying on, not allowing the TV to inherit the taskbar when the lid is closed.
Change packets' ports in your network interface to something non-blocked, make sure to do the reverse to incoming ports (unless one-way traffic); expect to receive packets on changed ports.
A simple network interface rule for incoming/outgoing packets should suffice.
If you don't have rights to do that then tough luck.
Your best bet then is middlemanning with a cheapo router somewhere along the connection and implementing the port-changing rule there.
However if ports are blocked on your interface and software has hardcoded ports then pool of viable solutions is reduced to such shit methods as disassembling said software or otherwise shitty and unfeasible ways.
In short: in case blockage is on your interface then you're fucked. Experiment with vpns because that's one area of topics my knowledge is limited in, and there *may* be a solution there.
I don't know if this helps, but if I close my laptop, the monitor above the laptop inherits the taskbar, but the screen is no longer "extended" to my tv. I mean, i can't even drag my mouse to my tv, although the tv does still show that it is receiving a signal and displays its wallpaper from the laptop.
I checked display setting and with the laptop closed, it only shows 2 monitors (the one above the laptop's screen and the tv). I switched to have the tv as the "main display" in this configuration and the taskbar now shows up on the tv. Seems like a different setup as before, but it works for the time being.
What'd I do wrong, /sqt/?
It won't boot at all, no fans spin, no lights, no nothing.
Is it harmful for a laptop/phone battery to run low? I'm getting mixed information. Some say that it's perfectly normal for it run low before charging <20% while some would say that you shouldn't let it reach 20% and don't charge it to 100% as well.
The first thing you did wrong was not try to boot it before installing it in the case. If the mobo's faulty have fun.
Second, how are you powering it on? Are the pin jumpers set correctly? Is the switch on the back turned on?
Laptop batteries like most recharable batteries wear down as they decharge. Keep them charged as much as possible, so always have a laptop plugged in when possible and unplugged when turned off.
People who say it's good to drain laptop batteries and recharge them all day every day are really fucking retarded
It's a new built.
There wasn'ta /pcbg/ thread, so I figured /sqt/ was the next best thing. I double checked that the switch was on, and it's a Corsair CXM 500w.
Here's the full part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BfG3pb
Managed to lock myself out of keepass 1.x database after losing my master key.
I've tried using scripts like keepass2john to hash it but the hashes generated aren't the correct length and all.
Anyone know of tools to help me back in?
if windows apps can be emulated on linux using Wine, why isnt there a similar program to run macOS apps on linux?
So I'm moving on from 2011 and my old 2500K, but to do so I obviously have to replace my motherboard. I have all the stuff I need, but what I want to know is what do I have to be aware of before I go switching all the parts out? Will Windows still recognise it as the same computer? Will simply switching the motherboard/CPU out and plugging everything back in work immediately? Stuff like that.
>do I need to do anything
No, it should work fine (new drivers for mobo/chipset will install automatically), but oddities do happen rarely
Once it boots up, make sure to install full package of drivers for the mobo (downloadable from manufacturer's website and should also be included in mobo packaging).
What windows installs is usually just barebones fit-all or at best outdated.
One more thing of note: check if your windows license is not registered to your hardware (google how to check if windows key is oem).
Because if it is, it might say that your license is invalid once you boot up. Not sure what are the consequences though.
Read the second part of my reply about OEM above (this post).
Seating the cooler on top of it spreads it enough.
The actual cpu is in the dead center of the chip, where most of the heat needs to be dissipated. Full coverage is not necessary and won't yield better results.
It's a guideline for normies who don't know how thermodynamics work.
By saying so they are assuming pressure will spread the paste on its own sufficiently well.
If you know better, then this advice is not for you.
No second meaning here.
What the FUCK python?
PYTHON OUTPUT: 7pin=6188088
accum += (3 * (pin % 10))
pin = int(pin / 10)
accum += (pin % 10)
pin = int(pin / 10)
print(((10 - accum % 10) % 10))
BASH OUTPUT: 8pins=6188088
accum=$[3 * "$pins" % 10]
pins=$[$pins % 100]
accum=$[$accum + $pins]
pins=$[$pins % 10]
echo $[10 - $accum % 10 % 10]
Does anyone know of a DOS compatible tiling window manager?
It shouldn't matter, I'd just check if maybe one of those cables is borked. It could be a motherboard issue like you suggested, I'm just saying it sounds like a PSU issue is more likely.
If this is the case...
THEN WHY DOES THIS NOT WORK??????
And using the complete path also doesn't!
I am trying to hook up 3 identical monitors to my work PC that has 2 display ports via onboard Intel graphics, and a science/display port out on an auto R5 340x.
When I plug in the 3rd monitor not won't work, but when I reboot only it works, and it disables the ATI video card
What am I missing here?
>>61799172ffmpeg -i foo -vf "fps=15,scale=320:-1:flags=lanczos,palettegen" -y palette.png
ffmpeg -i foo -i palette.png lavfi "fps=15,scale=320:-1:flags=lanczos [x]; [x][1:v] paletteuse" -y bar
I'm using this, I don't see anything wrong...
i need a software (preferably open source and free) for someone who owns a barbershop.
what the software should do is scheduling with a built in calendar, and it should be able to send messages to clients via sms or whatsapp
multilang is also appreciated
(one example)convert -fuzz 5% -delay 3 frame*.png -ordered-dither o8x8,16 -coalesce -layers OptimizeTransparency +map /tmp/out.gif
how do PCs fare with HDMI input switches? My consoles and set top box always output an HDMI signal, but the PC seems to just stop doing this when disconnected, which is the same state as being inactive on the switch. Will this cause any problems?
Thnaks, that was what I was looking for. I guess I can pipe ffmpeg output using something likeffmpeg -i foo.mp4 -vf "fps=15,scale=320:-1:flags=lanczos" -f image2pipe -vcodec ppm - | convert -fuzz 5% -ordered-dither o8x8,16 -coalesce -layers OptimizeTransparency +map bar.gif
possibly, haven't tried it
i just extract the frames i want with ffmpeg (-f image2 frame%03d.png), then process those, less overhead when trying multiple convert options to tweak a particular input, which you probably will need to do, as things like the number of colours or fuzz value, greatly affect both gif size and quality, making a decent quality gif that isn't gigantic can be tricky
I'm having some connectivity issues with some chat clients like rabb.it , etc, happens on chrome and firefox
i have a fast pc with a fast LAN connection but the past few days ive been getting disconnected from sites, did a malware and adware scan and no results of threats... wondering what else i could do
ok... im running the test, ill post this again after an hour.. but can you tell me what we're looking for?
