Not OP but i just upgraded from a 770 2gb for a 980ti. I have an i7 3770 as well and i wanna go from 1080p to 1440p. Only problem is i dunno what refresh rate i should go for considering i play all new games maxed out atm. Im not sure i could handle 144hz unless i dialed setrings down. Thinking of going for 60-85hz

Just bought the 2nd gen msi Optix 27 curved. I like it but its only 1080
So you might pass.i don't see the point of the 1440 fad though. After using a curved it's definitely much better than traditional.
