When the games are heavily stressed, the ryzen CPU wins and hard, when the games are not stressed, the intel CPU wins, which end giving the intel CPUs a bigger max FPS.
Also if you're not using a dual titan X, the GPU will cripple you before you have even the chance of being bottlenecked by the CPU.

The Core architecture is more mature and ends up having a bigger IPC, after years and years and years of refinements.
But AMD bought a bunch of new ideas to the table that allows em to undercut intel in price a lot.

ryzen due to more cores doesn't shit the bed when its stressed as much as intel.

to make the games cpu bound, you need fukcing 2500$+ in graphics hardware, pairing the cpus with a more likely 1060 the cpus are basicly the same.

however, here is the kicker, amd being overclockable on the stock cooler to its max frequency, and intel needing to buy an all in one to do the same. if you buy an intel with a stock cooler it wont over clock, and its at a lower frequency so amd wins even at stock in this scenario.

Its kind of funny to watch intels segmentation completely fuck them.
