I thought they would have fixed this by now.

Unfortunately Firefox's abysmal performance means Chrome still wins overall. But people have been asking for a FF-style omnibar for ages and it doesn't happen. Idk why

Nightly is legit faster than Chrome now. I've just dumped Chromium for it. Also had the same issue as the OP and it pissed me off.
