Yesterday while downloading leaked episode of GOT from a link given on /tv/ my phones battery died rather quickly.
I went from around 15%, thats when I get my low battery warning, to powering off dialogue in a matter of seconds.
To keep it from dying and letting the download complete, I quickly plugged it in but it did shut down. Since that moment, the phone says 0% and wont turn on.

Is the battery dead?
Did I download a virus or something downloading leaked episode?

BTW phone is Moto G First Gen Dual SIM running LineageOS 14.1

How do I bypass the Snapchat google play service thing with the newest version. I tried 8.0.0 and it does not work

That started happening with my m8, with charge reset procedures and emptying cache partition I could get it charging again but the turn off point kept climbing until it was ~42% and then one day the battery stopped being able to hold any charge and I changed it.

According to youtube tutorials, the phone tried to boot up as soon as the power is plugged in but the battery finishes before it boots properly. So press volDn+Power button to get into bios equivalent of phone and let it charge there for some minutes and hopefully battery will be charged enough to boot the phone properly from that menu after some minutes.

iPhone 6 user here.

mine has that screen clicking issue near the power button; I tap near that side and it makes a hollow sound.
doesn't occur anywhere else near the phone. I got a feeling this'll lead to that touch disease crap, what with the screen not sealed tightly with the body.

I'm fairly certain this'll be my last iPhone, sadly. Jobs would be displeased.

I have only owned a Sony phone and loved the ease of finding and flashing the stock firmware on it. Same for rooting.

I had the Zenfone 2, I don't know how much has changed but I had a bad experience. The power button was some weird mechanism that actually pressed a smaller button inside the back panel. People on the subreddit kept talking about how they plugged the phone into their computer and how it just completely died, and then the struggles they had with ASUS customer support.

I didn't want to void my warranty and flash a new ROM, so I used a package disabler to disable some 70+ bloatware apps and services. Had to reenable the bloat for every update. Coming from a device with vanilla Android it was very annoying. I sold it to a guy and talked to him a while later because the IMEI got blacklisted somehow and he needed my receipt to prove it was legit, he said that he likes the phone. So it's not intolerable for everyone, but I personally couldn't handle all the bloatware.

I hate android phones, it's a fragmented error-prone googly inconsistent mess. Signal refusing to run giving me the google play services excuse even when the latest version did not need google play services, and me trying to solve the problem by following some guy saying he had the same thing happen to him but resolved it by downloading the apk outside of the google play store and getting no difference for my shitphone at all, was the last straw.

I plan on watching videos listening to music and turning this thing into an emulation machine for GBA/PS/PSP games and Playing Fate/GO with out lag would be great as well, so a decent battery is a must and a decent camera wouldn't hurt as it may come in handy for my job. I know a j7 can handle fate/go with minimal lag from personal experience and I know a S7 can handle it no problem from a webm another anon showed to me. But if you guys could recommend me something better then I would love to hear it. Also an Iphone is the last resort for me but if it has what I need within my price range then I guess I have no choice

Not that those things are particularly bad (better than j7). You'd also be buying it directly from China so it doesn't have the retail steps other phones do.
