I discovered that ffmpeg can now into apng output.

is how you can get it to loop.
Anyone know if it can do frame transparency optimization stuff yet though? There seems to be very little documentation or info on this.

The full size one (789x1920) is 230.2MB...
I need a way to optimize these either in the ffmpeg call itself or with imagemagick or something prior.
Any ideas? I'm sure someone else here has played around with this before.

First we need tools to allow casuals to make them.
There was a GIMP plugin, but it looks broken and abandoned.
This newfound ffmpeg support is certainly encouraging though.
