I'm beginning in computer science on my own, I'm working a seasonal job where I have some time to spare.
I have a computer but of course I can't do whatever I want on it since it on intranet.
So what can I practice to get better? I'm a pure beginner.
You don't seem to understand, I require an answer /g/...
You mean you want to learn and practice programming stuff?

Read. Download textbooks and read. Find online tutorials and read. Read the official documentation of languages. Read other people's source code. Just keep reading and learning. Practice everything you read.

Yeah, or hardware theory for exemple.

This is what I'm gonna do. I'd like to perfectly know how an OS works but I don't really have any documentation.

I recommend getting a free microsoft account then getting the free 3 month pluralsight subscription that goes with it

Here's what I'm doing. Start here

Do part 1 and 2. Do not skip any assignments or if you do, go back and solve it later. Look at their solution and compare it to yours to see what you could've done differently.
I'm going through pic related textbook now. I can't recommend it or not yet because I'm only on chapter 2.
Here's an okay resource for finding stuff to learn.

Remember the only way to learn is by experience. Make sure you actually program, if you just read about it you won't remember anything
