Go to the auto get firefox 57 through the Nightly builds. It dropped yesterday, and it has a bunch of performance features that have been in the works for years and a new UI. They also made Rust just to make those features happen which is pretty cool.

Downside is nightly, but if you report bugs, they actually get handled in my experience, which is pretty cool i guess.

How do I automatically install updates of nightly on linux? It redirects me to their website whenever I click "update" on the menu bar.

Mozilla recommends autoupdate on linux, because of how regular nightly releases are. This way you get every update immediately and don't have to wait/never realize their is an update when the package goes unmaintained.

Package management is one of the best features of the linux ecosystem, but it's not the best solution in every real world scenrio.
