Someone on previous thread mentions that my grounding needs some fix

Anyone can elaborate? I use ps3 power supply to powering my Nakamichi CD400 head unit for desktop use.

Since there is only one device, I directly connect nakamichi's + and - to ps3 psu output, and it gave humming/buzzing sound.

previously, I tried using motorcycle battery and it sounds great, no humming or buzzing. So I guess the problem lies in the PSU

oh, and I use 220V single phase with eu connector

Got a Huion pen for my Parblo tablet (actually a rebranded Ugee m708).

I bought the tablet a long while ago, and it's surprisingly decent build quality, is a lot, lot more precise than my old Wacom Bamboo and it's the size of an intuous as well.

The two problems were driver support on windows (which resolved itself recently with a new batch of ugee drivers), and the flimsy rechargeable pen (see next pic)

This thing.
Not only was it really bothersome having to use a separate usb cable to charge the pen, it didn't have an off switch, so it was constantly idling and draining battery.

Then the cap broke off and I had to charge it by wrapping the wires onto a frayed USB cable.

Although, I have to admit, the actual pressure of the pen feels better than this new one.

This new one works off an AAA battery and has an off switch.

I fucking hate cables and having to constantly plug shit into my PC or the charger, I'd rather replace a cell once in a while.

One downside: the heavy battery shifts the weight balance, so it's literally impossible to draw with it if your tablet is at a 45 angle. The pen will be constantly dragging the tip upwards, you'd have to be a fucking tai chi master or something to adapt to that.

Fortunately, I use my tablet flat on the table, so it's not a problem.

Question, does a Huion pen work on an Ugee tablet?

It does!
They both use UC logic digitizers, so all tablets and pens (except monitor-tablets, those are different) from huion, monoprice, ugee, etc are compatible with each other.

Time to get hired by blizzard.

I also bought a pcb for my broken hard drive.
I don't have the equipment to re-solder the BIOS chip from the old PCB and onto the new one, neither do I have correct size torx screwdrivers, so this one is going in the drawer.

Literally ten years worth of data is on that hard drive, including original resolution artworks and some of my programming projects.

O well, I'll get them out one day.

In the US if post office decides that an item needs to be handed off in person, but is an international package they will hold it at the local office rather than leave a redelivery attempt form. This is probably a random sampling thing to see if you are a criminal, they even do it on packages that aren't marked as requiring signature.

Not really, the point of an automatic is that it draws power from you wearing it. So, if you wear it daily, you shouldn't have to wind it.

That being said, an automatic chink watch is going to be much worse at keeping time than a quartz one, so you may need to adjust it every now and then.

If you wear it daily it should stay wounded.

Mine gains about 30s a day (I forgot which direction it was since it's been a while since I wore it)
but if you lay it down face down/up crown down/up it'll either gain or lose time.
So the 30s you gain during the day you can lose again by laying it down in the right orientation during the night.
That way it'll stay reasonably correct.

Their newer stuff looks better built but mostly it's twice the price.

GPS works and I don't have to pay for map updates, it plays Netflix and MKV files but I don't get much use out of it with the poor screen. MP3s with album art works great but if all you want is MP3 playback in your car and you're cheap you can wire one of these things into pretty much any car stereo: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Bluetooth-MP3-Decoding-Board-Module-w-SD-Card-Slot-USB-FM-Remote-Decoding-Board-Module-M011/32801941652.html

not terrible prices on the 12" nigbass elements, and you can get neat deals on the demo pieces.

Mind you I'm really just an utter beginner at this so I can't really tell you much outside of what I've found googling the elements
>>
>>61719651
Mine are not immediately to hand right now, but I believe you're looking at the input bypass cap.
>>
>>61719778
Update: They work. Wire seems to be of decent quality, but I don't know how to feel about the sound quality just yet. It feels like it's slightly distorted or muddy, unless that's just the sound signature of KZ ZS3s to begin with and I didn't realize it until now.

Thanks, I'm not the original anon you were replying too, but I'm considering trying to diy a pair of speakers to replace my lsr305s. Since buying new speakers in Sweden is too expensive for me.

Can I force a Qualcomm quick charger to operate only at 12v?

Made a thread in diy too but if anyone here knows it'll be convenient.

tror du kommer över 1000kr ganska lätt om du vill ha nåt som spelar skiten ur lsr305s. men det är helt klart görbart.

Just buying a prebuilt amp for $20 and proper elements might be the easiest way really. Most of the work seems to be in calculating and building the speaker enclosure.

>Zuk Z2 Pro

That was dumb... The Z2 is getting all the roms and support from the community. The Z2pro is like 70% more expensive, and other than the storage its pretty much the same(bit more ram, bit bigger screen, and oh boy, a multi-color LED!!!![no kidding, i wish the Z2 had that])

99% of it is shit i just use for a few weeks and then put away. The xiaomi piston paperbacks($6 from gearbest) are on year 3 i think. Mostly cause they sound decent and i dont care if i break them. Other chink phones are sitting around hardly used(PL-50, M6, Piston 3) because even though they sound a bit better they dont feel as disposable so id be bothered if i broke or lost them.

I also have a dozen or so chink-fakes of nokia micro USB cables(like 4" long) that i love, and use everywhere with laptops. They are sturdy as hell and work great. A lot of the chink USB cables i order dont do data.

The Pro has a better camera, AMOLED screen, UFS, usb 3.1 port, metal frame, etc.

It was worth it for me at the time and I'm currently running official Flyme which is working well enough.

onn x5 is shit, laggy firmware, no dedicated DAC, and overpriced as fuck

get zishan z1/z2(plays wide variety of files, great sound quality, can be used for usb dac no screen though)

or benjie t6 (2 way bluetooth, plays almost everything, rockbox on its way)

another choice would be iqq c18(if you don't have problem with dodgy UI) and aigo 108 (great to piss off a&k owner)

I bought an AC-8260 from china. It was like $13. Works great. It looks legit. It was recognized out of the box and intel drivers are playing along.

I replaced a AC-7260 with it and my bluetooth has yet to drop once or code 10. Wifi seems to work great but I only have 2.4 and 5 GHz N networks to test it with.

Bought a Neewer bm800 mic and a Neewer phantom power supply. The mic sounds really good at 0-10db boost but i have to literally be within probably 2 inches. If i am any further i am too quite, and if you boost it tons of background noise appears. How do i address this? I have a desk stand but i would probably need one of those scissor mic stands to get it right up to my face at all times.
