It can't be fixed. The only way to return to what was is to create a new net. Wireless mesh net seems to be the only way forward without running your own wired infrastructure.
The only way to keep it decently pure is to make the new net have a relatively high threshold to join. Open Hardware and having to install the software to access and be apart of the net. It doesn't have to be ridiculously hard, just more of a pain that normalfags won't bother. They can have this shit they've ruined. It'll still be around if you really need to order this or that, but we can have something good again.
