There isn't a lot of content there but it's a good tracker because most of the encodes are quality. If I'm looking for something that has only ever been released in SD then I will always search SDB first, if I find a good encode there then I search at BTN, MTV, elsewhere for the same torrent. SDB isn't the easiest tracker to build buffer but cross-seeding is possible.

I don't know if there's any way into SDB other than the invite forum on HDB, but I'd take the opportunity if it's open to you. I don't think /pure/ matters much, there's no invite forum and I'm pretty sure they're not cabal, as long as you trust whatever invite source you have to a reasonable extent I'd just take it.
