I don't know, I use PDF as well. I'm just aware that postscript output is possible, and wanted to see if there is any particular reason to use it over PDF

I use pdf, since it's widely adopted for publishing. I use latex exclusively for long text and have to send them to somebody else 99.9% of the time. So yeah, pdf for me

PDF, my documents aren't usually mainly for physical printing so I want to take advantage of hyperlinks/bookmarks. Same goes for similar tech like FOP, which I've used a bit more than LaTeX lately.

Depends on the recipient.
I'll usually pick pdf, but I'll pick Postscript when I know the recipient can read it.
