Recently I have been asked to make a model of a human in PHP for a test during a job interview.
I failed badly because of lack of creativity, so I was told...
How would you do it /g/?

Should have said you wouldn't be a php programmer if you could.

i would disguise a chat program and outsource the human part to some humans.

Why would they expect working code with such an abstract question?
Anyway, if I were tasked to make a program that mimics a human, I would start with making a stereotype of what the human could do.
Depending on the domain, I would get very different answers.
When this is done, I would model each stereotype so the interfaces are well defined.
Then I would get the basic operations up and running.
Then iterate over the project by adding features one by one and maintaining the rest of the program.
If it was an interview, I would go into detail if needed
i'm guessing they were asking you to do some object oriented bullshit to show how you could model each major body part into its own object, and how you make a whole human object by combining those objects, and how objects interact with one another, etc. next time, ask your interviewers to clarify what they want. you are expected to probe for more details to get more accurate requirements

love it

No idea it was so strange and I was confused for 5h about what I was supposed to do and how...

Did this, they didn't like it. It lacks "creativity".
