How do you expect to ever have a career/love interest/real friends without social media profiles?
>career
You need to know people and they need to know you are good and that information doesn't travel trough social media anyways.
>real friends
You can stay in contact with real friends without social media
>love interest
nobody cares

Unless you live in the outback, there are a lot of other candidates competing for the same jobs and girls are you, and the recruiters/girls would rather call the people they can have an idea about by going through their profiles than a "mysterious" psycho.

as you*

As long as you're on whatever chat-app that your peers are using I think you'll be fine without facebook/instagram/snapchat.
I'm 26 so I'm not exactly in touch with how teenagers use the internet and social media nowadays, but I was under the impression that many of them are rejecting putting everything out in the open like on facebook/instagram and instead opt for private chats or group chats. So I think that I would be fine just using iMessage/whatsapp or whatever if I was a teenager again.

The 1-minute long "checking social media" part of it comes after screening your CV (and before scheduling at least 20 minutes to waste on you in person), Bob.
>love interest

why? are you afraid that NSA will help you in your sex/career?
>implying you want to work for 0.20 cents or FOR FREE in a minimum security jail and get your BOI PUCCI rimmed every night

Go to CTF challenges.
It's a perk if they can't find you online
