I've been looking for a large eReader to read PDFs on. I have a pretty large collection and I want to actually read them when I'm away from my computer or in bed or something. The thing is the current large options(8"+) are all over $300. A used Kindle DX can be had for $120-200 depending on condition. But the Kindle DX doesn't have expandable storage and that could be annoying since I'd like to have most if not all of my PDFs on it. Should I just spend the money for such a small feature or just cheap out and switch out files as needed?

I own an Icarus eXcel, which is a rebranded chink e-reader called Onyx Boox M96. It works decently, and I bought it second hand for €150.
Onyx now also has 13,3" ereaders, but supposedly the sony DPT-S1 is the only good one, but it is expensive as shit

I use an ipad for pdfs (mostly papers) and a small kindle for books.
Just get a chink tablet with a good screen or an old ipad.

this said, just get a cheap kobo, no need to get tricked into paying too much for the same features
also just download your books as epub from libgen
