Get FreeDOS instead. Is useful to flash the BIOS.

there are zero advantages of squandering the power of modern hardware on a uni-tasking real mode operating system
on hardware more suited to it however there's so little to break on it that it's pretty rock solid and there's shit tons of abandonware out there to run on it for all kinds of tasks

and that's pretty much all it's useful for because it can't do much else

You should use it as your main everyday os, yes. The NSA gives no shits about it at this point and it doesn't even natively support networking so you're 100% botnet free.

How was it even possible for them to design such an ugly logo?
>>61634814
it wasn't something you'd see anywhere else but the box since MS-DOS itself wasn't graphical
not that it's an excuse for half-assing it, I hate the logo too

It is clearly not finished, just give them a little more time to come out with something more ``modern''.

the only thing its good for is realizing how amazing a single-user OS architecture is for a programmer
TempleOS is built on the same principles, flat memory, global namespace etc, none of this paging or user privledge bullshit, if you want to get something done you find your drivers memory address and get it done

I remember seeing this fucker all the time on shortcuts back in the day.
