Don't listen to their python hate, it's a rly nice language and great for starters because you can use it for everything and it's actually well-developed so it makes sense from day 1. If you ever need to do something python isn't suitable for you can just learn a new language then what will be a piece of cake because learning a second programming language is easy as fuck
