Anon, I got myself Ryzen 1600 and some DDR4 RAM, now, what is the best (and relavtively cheap) motherboard for AM4?
I have a msi tomahawk b350 working with no problems.
I am thinking about ASrock B350 Pro4, because it has 3+3 phases.
I'm using msi b350m mortar, pretty much since r5 launch and it works great.
Get the AsRock B350 Pro4
I have the mATX version and it's great.
Just make sure that your memory is supported, otherwise you'll be playing around with timings n shiet

That's bad though. Other manufacturers have 4+2 setups, and the CPU VRM is by far the most important one.
asus b350 prime plus is the best b350 it have best vrm setup.
Poor fags. Buy an i5

It's behind the Asus Strix and every MSI board except the Pro Gaming in terms of VRM quality. It's cheaper than most of those though and good for the price.

does vrm even matter if you don't oc?

Maybe with the 1800X. Probably not for anything below that.

I really hope that list isn't supposed to be judging on VRM quality, because it's a bunch of fucking horse shit if so. The Xpower Titanium doesn't belong in the same tier as the K7 (because it's objectively inferior), and why would the K5 be a tier below when it's literally the same board in every single way, just without the extra clock generator chip?

7600K is only $20 more, fuck off poojoo.

I have a Gigabyte GA-AB350M Gaming 3. It's 7+1 phase.
This is my first desktop build in 10 years, so I can't really comment on whether it's a good board or not. I mean other than it taking me a full day to figure out how to navigate the BIOS properly, I don't have any complaints.

It's a 4+3 phase. However, Gigabyte's component choice on their B350 boards isn't great, so it's overall a weaker setup than Asus or MSI's 4+2, and even ASCock's 3+3.

It's still acceptable if you're not using an eight core chip.
So VRM wise which one is the best?
