An iPhone 6S, around 2 years old now, jailbroken on iOS 9.3.3.

It's a very decent phone as it's okay but not exceptional in every category... though I fucked up my earpiece and my battery's been getting worse so I'll probably either pickup the 8 or Mi6 or something.

S6 edge

I can get 12 hours of standby battery life or 2.5 hours of on screen time. Speed is good, Ram management is pathetic good thing lineageOS is stable now I'm going to try it.

Also the screen brightness is never maxed out due to a bug in the ambient light sensor and the screen is looking yellow with a screen burn in at the bottom (I'm not sure if its my screen protector or my actual screen)

A comfy zenfone 2 laser 720p :3
I love this Phone. You might ask do I love this phone, r-right? Well, I bought it off on a whim without thinking about anything and for my surprise, a guy called Lukk was maintaining the lineage os version for this phone. I was the happiest anon in the world when I saw I could install LineageOS on my phone, yay.
But then, a challenge appeared: Could I use GNU, on this phone? Well, it would be cool if I could, right? I spent day and night reading the entire internet to learn how to do the shit. And, I did! yey. I could install Arch Linux and run GNU programs! I was like
> yayay, I can even install shit with pacman and yaou-
>wait, I can't use yaourt?!
another challenge appeared then. Fakeroot couldn't run, which meant that I couldn't install packages with makepkg. I was sad for a bit, but then, I saw the light of a kernel. Yes, the kernel. I forgot about linux, android is running linux not burd. I just need to recompile the kernel and make fakeroot work! easy, right?
Well, actually no. I spent exactly 1 week thanks to my slow laptop to successfully compile the kernel and make the boot.img (I did try a lot). But in the end, I could compile my own modified version of the android kernel. And you know what? Fakeroot worked this time! yea it ran, and then I ran yaourt and tried to install someshit, but makepkg complained: You can't run as root. I said no, please don't. But then I realized I ran fakeroot. And exited & rerun and now it worked perfectly.

I can't explain exactly, how attached I'm with this phone. I love it, it's my waifu, I could say, even.

Immediately happy with the Keyboard as well. However if you're into ricing phones and consume a lot of media this phone isn't for you.

It will kill off KLWP easily after some time and revert back to the stock wallpaper.

Eh, Touchwiz isn't as bad as it used to be really. It still somehow manages to be slightly slower than other phones closer to stock but it's not really noticeable unless you're paying attention and comparing side by side (look up various comparison videos of the XZ Premium and the S8+ to see what I mean) and at least the design doesn't look like complete dogshit anymore. Your mileage may vary.

As for worrying about bricking a phone, unless you're doing something absolutely moronic like flashing the bootloader for some reason you'll probably be okay. What you will probably do though is trip Samsung KNOX which invalidates your warranty and can't really be undone.
>>
>>61633525

The second screen is stupid as fuck on the V20. It is the biggest novelty implementation gimmick I've come across in a phone.

LG should have added capactive navigation keys instead of that stupid ass screen.

Though, the V20 is a gorgeous phone. Big screen, 4GB ram, fast cpu/gpu, removable battery and sd card.

If the V20 had capacitive navigation buttons, front firing speaker, wireless charging, and they ditched that stupid second screen it would be the perfect phone.

Moto G4. It has a 5.5" 1080p screen. Some sort of decent chipset (no idea, phones are fucking boring) a reasonably good DAC and a micro SD slot.

Why would I need anything else for clover, reddit is fun, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and chromium?

Got an unlocked S8 about a month ago and couldn't be happier. After years of 3-4 hour SoT even on my iPhone 6s I get up to 7 hours SoT with my S8 and it's fucking great! I didn't need to do anything or disable anything other then YouTube (because of OGyoutube) to get good battery life I had it at 720p to save battery but switched it back and still get 7 hours.
> Really want the Coral blue s8 but don't want to risk losing my battery god phone because a lot of people complain of average battery life with their phones.

How true is this? The only thing keeping me away from G6 is it's battery life and I've never seen anyone boast about it.

You didn't turn off NFC, GPS, Bluetooth? I'm not sure what kind of battery life I'll be getting. But 8hr seems to be quite a lot. I'm at 1hr sot with 76% battery
