Just as with Ryzen, you're not getting that 4.0 at 1.35V on the stock cooler. Unless you enjoy fires of course.
>>
>>61605619
Any DDR4 will do just fine. IF scales with ram speed, but so are intel processors apparently.
>>

Samefag. Angry the OC3D graph destroyed his cherry picked points.
>>
>>61605638
Cheapest b350 is 65-70, cheapest z270 is 100-105, that's not a $10 difference.
Hardware unboxed managed that overclock on a stock cooler with acceptable temps. 3.8-3.9 is definitely achievable with stock cooler.
>>
>>61605638
>you're not getting that 4.0 on the stock cooler
Tell that to hardware unboxed, who did exactly that. Said temps were fine.

Actually no, ram scaling is somewhat on par with kaby lake platform. IF only affects core latencies between CCXs, they are not as important for Ryzen 3. Anyway, 2666 is attainable on any ddr4 ram with the latest BIOS.

Probably just reveals how rigged as fuck, buggy, and unrepresentative trash these synthetic benchmarks are and that no respectable hardware reviewer should use them.

Cinebench is fine, since it's a benchmark made from an actual bit of productivity software.
Like if Epic or Crytek had a benchmark based on their engine, that'd make sense compared to 3dmark which is not.

This is why you see things like CPU-Z "update" their benchmark to make Ryzen worse. It was retarded before, and still is. Just a very limited and not very transparent synthetic benchmark.
Aida64 benchmarks are okay since they're transparent, though. Yet for some reason no one uses them.

Yes but the per-core performance is about 45% lower, even if it has twice the cores single core matters at that speed.

I'd recommend the A12-9800 though just because B350 > Intel platforms

If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue.
