See I've always loved my elitebook, but lately I don't know. The fucking hinges get loose and need tightening. If you don't tighten them soon enough, you have to take the screen apart and re-align the plastic.. Not so good..

Which one? My 2170p has been great so far.

I have a x230t and a 2570p. Former has an IPS screen, touch, pen input, better keyboard. Latter has an extra drive bay, better touchpad, and socketted CPU. I use my x230t more but against the regular x230 the 2570p has more going for it.

But I'm disappointed M cpu prices are high even for 5 year old ones. The socketted slot appeals to me but it doesn't seem worth utilizing.

It's like you've never seen black people before. Think of it this way: there are a lot of mediocre and not very attractive white/Asian/etc girls around. Maybe a certain percentage of the total population are above a 6. Same goes for black people. My company gave me a elitebook. It is a piece of garbage. Works great until you want to do something odd.

Change your monitoring config too fast (or docking). - blue screen
Have too many USBs in and unplug the wrong one - blue screen

Inb4 better drivers. Laptop choice is easier than fixing windows/Intel/whoever
