More than anything I think this points to a systemic problem with litigation against companies of this size by regulatory bodies. What is the point of any of these regulations and laws if they cannot meaningfully enforce their edicts? If companies like Intel can drag out appeals for over a decade rendering them ineffective then you may as well not have them.

Business litigation is a scam. It's time for jail sentences not fines. For large cases like these they should go straight to the federal courts and be final. No appeal bullshit. No wasting time and money dragging it out forever allowing monopolies to continue profiting from it.
