I can never tell if someone is a tranny or just weird.
Their voice doesn't help, neither does their clothes because they don't actually try to present as feminine.
What's even worse is you can't just ask them or else you risk getting torn to shreds by the beta orbiters around said tranny.

Cancer is successful too, I guess people just like cancer.

It's Python, without the shitty Python syntax and features, and twice as fast. The package manager for it, too, is better than Python's, say some, including myself.

it can scale that many websites in top 100 use it

it's much faster than any other scripting language, and it's the only solution that can produce latencies/bandwidth comparable to golang as long as you don't do intensive cpu which almost every real world case

>>

It's not python without the shitty syntax, but I agree with the rest of what you said.

Also, Python's syntax is the nicest thing about it, assuming you're using tabs and not spaces (because if you're using spaces for indentation then kill yourself).

If only Ruby didn't have a bunch of faggots in the community and had a JIT compiler run time like JS...
>>
>>61548510
Electron != node for desktop apps

An Electron program is literally just Chrome + your code packaged in such a way that it'll all have access to things like your filesystem.

The retarded amounts of bloat in Electron apps is because of this. If you used straight JS to interface with the native GUI API you'd hardly notice a difference between it and a C# "native" app.

Open a tab in Chrome and see how much RAM that uses. It's about the same as an Electron app... Because they ARE the same.

Nothing.

The retard thinks tabs are the same across

different editors.

Spaces are more consistent.

You can always set your tab key to insert

the appropriate number of spaces baka
>>
>>61549724
Nothing wrong with spaces, but what kind of shitty number is 3?
Either 2 or 4.
>>
>>61549821
Set your editor to display tabs how you like, retard.

>spaces are more consistent
And retarded. Stop wasting time jerking off with your OCD and get back to work.

Also, how can you be sure that someone else doesn't want a different indentation width?
If the other person has his editor insert spaces when he hits tab then how do you know his setting matches yours? You're actually saying he should go change his config just to suit you?! Fuck you, arrogant cunt.

>you can always set your tab key to insert...
Yeah, no shit. So why not just use a fucking tab character in the first place?
>>
>>61549833
dunno, 2 seems like too little and 4 too much...
What's wrong with 3?

AND THAT IS EXACTLY THE POINT OF USING TABS!!!!
YOU COULD JUST SET YOUR TAB WIDTH TO DISPLAY HOW YOU LIKE.

FUCK!

WHY IS THIS HARD FOR "hurr durr more consistent" RETARDS TO UNDERSTAND?!

Also,
>what are hard tabs vs. soft tabs
>what is disable tab stops

FUCK YOU SPACETARDS.

I swear, for the rest of my career I will fucking fire any mother fucker I see using spaces for indentation. There will be no explanation, no argument, no nothing. Just "Alright, so the door is over there and security will mail your things to your address. Get out."

The difference is that >>61550065 was responding directly to the implied assertion from >>61549881 that he/she had never worked on a project and had to follow a style guide.

So the anecdotal response was justified.
Your appeal to bandwagon/authority was not.
>>
>>61550359
I was a contributor to the coffeescript cookbook on github until I realized that it's stupid to sugar coat JS especially since it merely lengthens the edit->test->debug cycle and, more importantly, cofeescript will never support ES6.

I like coffeescript's syntax though and I wish Dart used it instead.
>>
>>61550383
>lengthens cycle
require 'coffee-script/register'
>cofeescript will never support ES6.
That too makes me sad. I'll have to leave it behind, eventually. Or fork it.
