What is /g/ opinion on Deepin?
I've been distro hopping for months in order to switch from Windows and this is the only one that just werks (for some reason all the other distributions gave me screen tearing).

Chink botnet notwithstanding, Deepin DE is really nice. I mean, really, really pretty. I showed it to my sister when I went back home to Taiwan, and she really liked. To me, it's really attractive. They're also really perceptive to Asian aesthetic sensibilities. It's just overall really impressive how the DE looks from a strictly aesthetic, non-utilitarian perspective.
It's like MacOS but even better. It does what the retards at Elementary wanted to do with 10x the amount of creativity and nuance.
I could totally imagine this being deployed in--if not an enterprise situation--a library or some kind of public area. It would definitely work as a personal desktop for a normie. I love the way chink distros rebrand free software shit to look like their proprietary counterparts; e.g. Open Office is branded to look similar to Microsoft Word. When you nix the chitzy free-software-stank, normies are suddenly no longer afraid of GNU/Linux.

It's been a long time. I said I would let my sister use it--not me. I would rather die than integrate with chink botnet.
Last I checked, the kernel they distribute is, like, ten versions old. Plus, all DE's are bloatware.
I just find it amazing what laymen find to be scary and what they don't. Android is so pervasive, they're perfectly ready to bend over and get shafted by lazy, retarded OEM's, but a well-maintained, functional distro like Ubantoo is apparently a faux-pas. When MacOS doesn't support something Windows does, it's for a good reason. When a Linux distro doesn't, it's shite.
It's like magic.

Try Solus, it's the distro that made me stop hopping.
