So I found out that my 8 year old Toshiba laptop had a 64bit processor after all, but my 4gig ram was limited to 3 because of stupid Windows, so I'm trying to upgrade from Win10 32bit to 64bit. The problem is, fucking windows 10 boot(or whatever it is called) is having priority over my usb with Win10 64 properly flashed, no matter what I fucking do. I don't know if the problem is Windows side or Bios side, because like I said, this shit is 8 years old and I think Toshiba dropped support. I couldn't find an option to change the boot to CSM/Legacy. I am currently downloading Ubuntu as a last resort, because maybe the usb was yielding priority to HDD boot because it was the same Windows.
Anyways, I need your help. I'm losing my mind.
Ubuntu should work with uefi , which you probably have, set USB as first boot priority, now fuck off.
spam f12 while booting and hopefully you get into boot selection.
or try turning off secure boot in the bios

Did that. There is no option for secure boot or CSM/Legacy in my bios. Only option that could possibly affect this was the fast boot, which I turned off. Hopefully I was retarded an I fucked up somewhere with the usb.
Just go to your bios and change the boot order
Remove the old installation/install media

Try all the F keys you retard. It's not always f12. Could be f2
