Anyway, let me be useful for once and help you faggots out. https://getsharex.com/ . Bind the cropping thing to ctrl+alt+1 (I think it's the default) and enable auto-upload to imgur plus auto-clipboard once it uploads. There you go - cropped screenshot in two seconds

Also while I'm at it install 4chanX and enable legacy captchas so you don't have to contribute to Google's vision botnet

Forgot to add - you also need 4chanX to use this function right here on my cursor - it allows you to paste the link from imgur and uploads the picture for you. You can use that in the regular way (by dumping the link in the old upload input box) but it sometimes bugs and sits for upwards of 10 seconds. This one is better for links.

This. At least GNOME never had a good, basic paint program and bistrobutors can't configure KDE, so Kolourpaint, as the best as it is isn't an option.

It is a possibility. My old LCD TV got a burned in image from Netflix on Firestick, instead of timing out and release to the home menu, it would just go to "Pick User" and then go slightly dim after an extended period of time. I eventually had happy faced squares burned in to my screen. I am sure others complained also and now they have those advertising screensavers. But I agree, it makes more sense for it to turn off than run a screensaver.

Its called research. Find one with a proper microcontroller and it won't be shit. I have a 30 pos SSD in my laptop to fuck around with, its like 120 gb. Still fast for that. Just do proper maintenance on the drive, most OS have TRIM enabled. I still have 2 Samsung F3 1TB that are 6-7 years old, one with almost 10k hours on it before I made the switch to SSD. They are still great. I wouldn't want a raptor 10krpm drive to boost my speed, i would worry that would have a higher fail rate. But nothing compared to the dear old hitachi deathstar
