ThickButtons. No matter which other keyboards I try, I always come back to this one. Its gimmick is that it uses word prediction to make some keys smaller and others larger based on what letter it thinks you're going press next. But you can turn this off, and have a simple keyboard that makes good use of space; good sized keys and little to no wasted space between them.

What are the best keyboards for one-handed use on an Android phone?

No more new features and possible incompatibility with future devices.

If Minuum had a gesture to change prediction like Flesky has it would be perfect.

Physical keyboards can have both of these. The others aren't worth the downgrade to a slab of glass.
>>
>>61515848
Checked every keyboard just weeks ago.
Answer is NO.

You can use keyboards like Stock Samsung, stock Sony. You can sideload / install hacked APKs.
>>
>>61524856
Well, at any rate, I already have a "slab of glass" smartphone that works fine, so I don't see a need to go to a physical keyboard. But do people even have phones with physical keyboards anymore? As far as I've seen, no one has those kinds of phones.
>>
>>61521602
Google Keyboard was a 1:1 replica.
Or rather, a 1:1 Android replacement.
It had the speed, the looks, the feel, everything.

However Google quickly realized that they cannot shove their G-shit down people's throat like that. So they quickly added like a fuckton of bloat and thus Gboard was born. The sluggish big motherfucker that has GIF search support. Very, very fucking useful.

Then there is SwiftKey, which has "Neural networks" buzzwords and shit. But it never works.

I mean there should be an AOSP keyboard, the bare minimum. Yet, I cannot find any. Why?

Any keyboard that's
>not ugly
>supports themes
>fast and responsive
>no emoji shit or at least disable-able
>no google shit or at least turn off search
>supports swipe
>has decent autocorrect/prediction
>has good foreign (specifically rune) support

Bonus points if you can straight up change the font of the keyboard itself but that's asking for more than I think I'll get. I'm using gboard + jp gboard but I can't find a way to disable some stupid google shit or permanently disable and remove all trace of emoji from my keyboard
>>
I remember finding this really interesting keyboard awhile ago. You basically pull to the right and you can choose the letter and then it shows you the next selection of letters while still pulling through the keyboard. Basically, all the letters are in the right and you just do a long slide to go to wherever the letter is in the y axis and after you go to the first letter you shows you all the next letters but the logical or predictive letters are bigger. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
