The joys of underperforming/overloaded rural Western NC internet.

Pay $99 monthly for 50 down/4 Up. But NEVER see this unless its 2 AM and the server is closer like in Atlanta.

Also, that speedtest server is HOSTED BY MY ISP! If its under 40 then you know their network is FUCKED.....

BRB calling in to bitch since their "official" "Biased" server ( the only one they accept speedtest from for credit) is showing 10% of what i'm supposed to get....

Yeah, we had the max which was 108 down/ 5 up for $149.99 but you know... with results like these it made no sense to continue with that scam.

There is no alternative, 4G LTE maxes out at my house around 3 mbps so my unlimited ATT and Verizon lines are worthless.

I could too, but i dont feel like upgrading my entire network just to get some speedtest a bit faster.

I have 1gbps switches, CAT5e wiring, and 1gbps NICs in all my PCs, upgrading my gear to support 2gbps would be ~$1000 conservatively.

Maybe one day in the future I'll upgrade to 2 GBps no need now.

They already have 10 GBps speeds in the USA.
